We’re so ready for the weekend, especially because today is Friday the 13th, and you never know what’s gonna happen: You might end up inside Jamie Lee Curtis’ body. But we hope you’ll come say “hi” in the Forums no matter what. Also, don’t forget that Father’s Day is Sunday. Dads need love, too.

Sex sells. But what about purity? A K-Swiss ad campaign features tennis star Anna Kournikova in a white sports bra and a teeny-tiny mini skirt, showing off her midriff like a high school ho. Now that they’ve got your attention with some T&A, what’s the slogan say? “Keep It Pure.” Um, what?! While we’re sure that Anna Kournikova is a lady, when there’s a billboard of her rolling around on her back on the tennis court, chastity doesn’t come to mind. And why should it? We’re not sure why K-Swiss is trying to sell sneakers with abstinence — something that even their cover girl Kournikova, who has been doing the horizontal mambo with Enrique Iglesias for years, doesn’t represent. And everyone knows, like a modern woman, it’s impossible for white sneakers to not get a little dirty. Keep reading »
FHM magazine in Australia conducted an online poll of 57,000 men, and 28 percent of them said they hoped to marry a virgin, while 41 percent wanted to marry women who had five sexual partners or fewer. The survey respondents were mostly college-educated, employed men in their late 20s, which makes me wonder, if Australian men between age 30 and 39 have slept with an average of 9.5 women, how can they expect there to be any virgins left? They’re not helping their own cause. Dr. Gail Hawkes, a sexuality expert at the University of New England said, “You would not be surprised if we saw that in 1960, not 2008.” We couldn’t agree more. Joyce McFadden, a New York City psychoanalyst, who runs a site called Women’s Realities, actively conducts studies where she asks women questions and then let’s them answer in their own words. As you’d expect, we ladies have sex on our minds. So, when prompted with, What do you want to know about your mother but would never ask?, the responses were overwhelmingly about their mother’s sexual history — from how she lost her virginity, to possible abortions, to if she had even ever questioned her sexuality. While the answers to this query may not be child-proof, as a teenager or adult struggling with our own sexuality and love life, this info could be a bit uncomfortable, but useful and potentially validating. Although, just a few days after buttering our moms up with Mother’s Day presents, we still can’t seem to ask. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
Phone sex is a fun way to keep in touch while a loved one is out of the country. But usually when we complain about being raped by long distance charges, we’re only talking about the bill. A family in Tunisia, however, is suing a man they claim took their daughter’s virginity over the phone. While the man never even laid a finger on her, the 20-year-old was heard shrieking, um, erotically and supposedly broke her own hymen — according to her medical examination. Impressive! Even Janeane Garofalo, the star of The Truth About Cats And Dogs’ classic phone sex scene, would be wowed. [UPI] Keep reading »
The internet is bad! Before it came along and opened up the eyes of youngsters everywhere to online porn, little boys had to steal from their fathers’ secret stash of Playboy, or, at the very least, the swimsuit of Sports Illustrated. But a study published in CyberPyschology and Behaviour revealed that men between 12 and 17 who regularly viewed porn had sex at an earlier age and were more likely to initiate oral sex. Women who watched pornography at younger age also lost their virginity earlier. “The internet is having some kind of accelerant effect, influencing and changing behavior,” said Shane Krauss, a psychologist from Castleton State College in Vermont, who performed the survey. “Males are having oral sex and losing their virginity much younger when they are exposed to pornography, sometimes by a good three or four years for oral sex or two years for their virginity.” In short, make sure your kids stay on the Disney website, rather than clicking over to X Tube if you want them to remain chaste longer. “I was 15. It was out in the woods with a girl I had just met who my buddy set me up with. The whole thing lasted two seconds. It was really awkward. Two years later I had sex with her again just to show her the first performance was a fluke and I’d gotten better.” — Ashton Kutcher, on his first time, in the May 2008 issue of Details. We’ve been there too, Kutch. Keep reading »
I will forever associate my virginity with toads. No, this is no allusion to fairy tales, no delusions of princess-like grandeur. To my grave disappointment, at no point during my epic virginity-losing did the pimply faced amphibian straddling me morph into a dashing prince. The reason I associate my deflowering with toads is because instead of a Bon Jovi ballad or a sweet Sarah McLachlan serenade, I lost my virginity to the unlikely ribbits of toads.Namely those in that famous Budweiser commercial – you know, BUD. WEIS. ER.

New Jersey native Sarah Reilly, 25, gives The Frisky the dirt on why she’s waiting for wedding bells before she does the dirty. It’ll truly be a Snow White Wedding…
So when and why did you decide to save yourself for marriage?
Well, my dad is a pastor and when I was a child my parents explained to us, my brother and sisters and me, why sex is beautiful and why it’s important to wait for that someone special. And on my 13th birthday I promised my parents and God that I would wait and my parents gave me a promise ring. Keep reading »
