Snooki Makes Over A Tween In Her Likeness

I should probably find this video of Snooki giving an 11-year-old a makeover in her likeness — heavily applied bronzer, poof, and all — really offensive. She’s a kid! She doesn’t need to look like a Jersey guidette with alcohol running through her veins! But I don’t know, I found this makeover kind of adorable and silly and funny. I mean, Snooki is a cartoon character. Like Dora the Explorer. What’s the harm in that? Keep reading »

Meet My Drunk Spirit Animal

I’m not saying this elephant baby is drunk. I’m saying that this baby elephant’s rolling and thrashing and staggering pretty much approximates what I look like when I’m drunk. [YouTube] Keep reading »

On last night’s “Colbert Report,” Stephen invited Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney of The Black Keys and Ezra Koenig from Vampire Weekend on to figure out who should win this year’s Grammy for best alternative album. To settle the score, Colbert challenged the two bands to a “sell-out-off.” While the Keys have a Victoria’s Secret and Zales commercial under their belt, Vampire Weekend boasts commercials for Honda and Tommy Hilfiger. As Colbert notes, “Clearly, you have both equally whored out your music.” So true! [Comedy Central] Keep reading »

Cross-Species Love: Animal Orgy Version

Guys, this video might be NSFW. It’s a veritable cross-species animal orgy, featuring a llama, a randy cat, a bunny and a chicken. The cat is going absolutely wild making biscuits on the llama’s furry back. Ooh, scandal! [BuzzFeed] Keep reading »

Sarah Palin Lashes Out At Media After Gabrielle Giffords Shooting In Tucson

Sarah Palin has lashed out at critics who say her at-times violence-tinged political rhetoric influenced Jared Lee Loughner, the man who shot 14 people this weekend in Tuscon, Arizona, including Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. “After the shocking tragedy, I listened puzzled, then with concern, and now with sadness, to the irresponsible statements of those attempting to apportion blame for this terrible event,” Palin said. “President Reagan said we must reject the idea that every time a law is broken, society is guilty rather than the lawbreaker. It is time to restore the American precept that each individual is accountable for his actions. Acts of monstrous criminality stand on their own. They begin and end with the criminals who commit them, not collectively with all the citizens of a state, not with those who listen to talk radio, not with maps of swing district used by both sides of the aisle, not with law-abiding citizens who respectfully exercise their first amendment rights at campaign rallies, and not with those who proudly voted in the last election.” Keep reading »

Ain’t Nothin’ But A “Glee” Thang, Baby

Heather Morris, Matthew Morrison, Naya Rivera, Cory Monteith, and several other familiar “Glee” faces teamed up for this Funny or Die spoof, “Ain’t Nothin’ But A ‘Glee’ Thang.” It’s reasonably funny, though I think it would have packed a lot more punch if Dr. Dre or Snoop Dogg had made an appearance (hey, Snoop did the “Oh Sookie” video), or if the teens in the intro were sipping on gin and juice. That said, I do like the bit where Sofia Vergara gushes about Jane Lynch, which sure feels like a make good for the time her “Modern Family” co-star said Jane didn’t deserve her Emmy. And I also appreciated the random diss on AT&T in here. True dat. Keep reading »
