TLC’s new hit show isn’t about a family with a whole lot of kids. Nope, it’s about: coupon clippers. But not just any coupon clippers—obsessive couponers who save hundreds of dollars in a single trip to the grocery store … but then live their lives among their collected non-perishables. Which makes them just a step above hoarders in that the insane amount of clutter they’re living in is new crap rather than old, decaying crap. Ahhh, but there is already a scandal with this new show. J’aime Kirlew, who was shown on the series buying 70 newspapers in order to procure 70 copies of a coupon that made mustard 39 cents a jar in addition to other over-the-top penny pinching behavior, has been accused of coupon fraud. Oprah sure loves pairing ’80s rock stars with the pop tarts of today. On yesterday’s “Woman Who Rock” episode, in addition to teaming up Avril Lavigne and Pat Benatar, she also had Miley Cyrus join Joan Jett for a medley of “Bad Reputation,” “Cherry Bomb,” and my favorite karaoke song ever, “I Hate Myself For Loving You.” Joan still looks and sounds amazing and, well, at least it kept Miley off the pole for a little while.
Tracy Morgan took a seat on the estrogen-soaked couch of “The View” yesterday. He and Sherri Shepherd have a special relationship since she plays his wife on “30 Rock.” While watching a clip of the sitcom where Tracy got to show off his revenge body, Sherri shared a little secret. “Every time he came out, he would stuff something in his pants,” she said. Tracy did not approve. “That wasn’t stuffed!” Tracy insisted. “No. No. That’s me. You know I’m magically delicious.” And it only got funnier from there. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
Lifetime has released the extended trailer for “William & Kate: The Movie” and it looks predictably schmaltzy and AWESOME. I am counting down the days until April 18 when this airs at 9 p.m. (EST). Who else is going to watch? [Us Weekly]

Apparently one of Courteney Cox and David Arquette’s marital problems was that he was obsessed with having sex with her. [TMZ]
The world’s first 3D porn film sold out in theaters across Hong Kong tonight. “3-D Sex and Zen: Extreme Ecstasy” is in Cantonese and based on Chinese erotic literature. [Fox 411]
This week, “The Oprah Show” featured Pat Benatar and Avril Lavigne doing a duet of “Love Is A Battlefield,” a song that remains relevant after all these years. Pat seems to be winning the “war” seeing as she’s still with her husband of 30 years. Unfortunately, we can’t say the same about Avril. [Oprah] Keep reading »
Mark your calendars for May 16, folks. That’s when “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” returns. Well, at least a few of them anyway—Dina Manzo called it quits midway through last season and our favorite skin suit wearer, Danielle Staub, was ousted after last season, too. But there are some new ladies filling in their slots. First there’s Melissa Gorga, who just happens to be Teresa Giudice‘s sister-in-law. Melissa is a mother of three who wants to be a pop star and has been recording tracks with producer Keith Boles. “It’s feel good music,” he explains. The second new housewife is Kathy Wakile, who happens to be Teresa’s cousin. Kathy is a mom of two and is super into throwing parties. Apparently, we have her daughter’s belly dancing themed Sweet 16 to look forward to.
But just because these new housewives are family doesn’t mean things are going to be all lovey dovey. Keep reading »
