A Funny Or Die Kim Zolciak Sings “Tardy For The Party”

This two minute video of “Kim Zolciak” singing “Tardy for the Party” is funnier than this whole season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been. I especially love “Lady Gaga‘s” appearance and her pipe insulation costume. [Funny or Die] Keep reading »

Friday Cuteness: Big Old Mean Rottweiler Attacks Cute Baby Beagle

Oh pardon me, I meant that the other way around. If you’re in the mood for some Friday adorableness, you’ll probably want to take two, sit back, and zone out on some surprisingly zen yet so-cute-you-might-barf sibling rivalry. [Fark] Keep reading »

Christina Aguilera Gets The Opposite Of Dirrty On “Project Runway”

Where do starlets go when their career needs a boost? Apparently, “Project Runway.” Lindsay Lohan appeared as a guest judge on the show earlier in the season, and last night Christina Aguilera took her turn. Seeing her on the episode, sporting some serious bangs, reminded me why she’s been the pop star who’s totally fallen off the radar, even though she has the best voice. The girl is too darn nice! This Is Sick: Balloon Boy Barfs On Live TV

Alright, WTF is going on with this “Balloon Boy” story? For starters, can we stop calling Falcon Heene that, because, remember, he wasn’t actually in the balloon. Secondly, was this a hoax or not? The family appeared on “Larry King” last night and Falcon seemingly called out his parents for faking the whole incident saying, “You guys said we did this for the show ….” Then this morning, the whole family appeared again on “Today” and his dad, Richard, said he was appalled that anyone would even suggest they staged this whole thing for publicity. Meanwhile, poor little Falcon barfed during the interview and Meredith Vieira and his father ignored it and continued on with the interview. Someone take the cameras off these people and put that little boy to bed. Keep reading »

Should Women Be Allowed To Serve On Submarines With Men?

Today on “The View,” the women discussed how the Navy is considering letting women serve on submarines for the first time. Whoopi, Sherri, Joy, and guest co-host Kara DioGuardi got into a heated debate about whether they’d be concerned about a significant other living on a submarine for 90 days in veryclose quarters with members of the opposite sex (lots of brushing up against one another as people pass in the narrow hallways). Is it a question of trust, or does it go beyond that? Keep reading »

Falcon Heene, 6-Year-Old Boy, Trapped In A “Homemade Flying Saucer” Helium Balloon

A “6-year-old boy” named Falcon Heene (allegedly the son of Richard and Mayumi Heene of Ft. Collins, Colorado) climbed into a “helium balloon” shaped like a “homemade flying saucer” in “his parents’ backyard” outside of Denver and floated away when he untethered it from its rope. At least, that’s what the government wants you to think.

But seriously, we hope he’s back on solid ground. Land safely, Falcon!

UPDATE: The balloon has landed and television is saying one of Falcon’s siblings said he fell out of the balloon.
UPDATE: Police are now saying the balloon is empty, meaning Falcon is not inside. Here’s hoping he’s just snickering under the bed.
UPDATE: We’re now hearing the Heene family appeared on the TV show “Wife Swap.” ABC’s web site for “Wife Swap” has a picture of a 5-year-old Falcon on its website. Keep reading »

Man Goes Through Simulated Childbirth To See If He Can Handle The Pain

We’ve all heard the old women-versus-men pain threshold debate. It almost always goes the same way. A man in the middle of a crowded bar raucously boasts that he can withstand more pain than a woman. Any woman! Then, some gal in his vicinity gently puts down her gin and tonic, peers over her glasses and says, “We go through childbirth.” Finally, an Australian TV show host wants to settle this thing once and for all. With the help of a few lovely ladies, he hooked himself up to a machine that simulates contractions. The nurses increased the duration and intensity of the contractions until … surprise! He couldn’t handle it. After only three hours he called it quits. The show ends with the dude saying, “We have nothing, women win. Men don’t.” That’s right, boys! Keep reading »

“A Woman’s Nation” Addresses Our Role In Society And The Workplace

Starting Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Maria Shriver will serve as guest editor for the week-long airing of the special “A Woman’s Nation.” Women now make up nearly half of the U.S. work force, and the roles men and women have have changed as we all try to balance family and work. Shriver, with the Center for American Progress, conducted research on women and the economy, and their report will be released Oct. 16, and policy recommendations for “ways society can better support the new American worker and the new American family” will be addressed on the NBC special. The Daily Ovulation: The PS22 Chorus Is Gonna Run This Town

What’s that you hear? Yeah, that’s the sound of my uterus giving the PS22 kids a standing ovation for their rendition of Jay-Z’s “Run This Town.” The little lead vocalist is astounding, the rap segment (which the chorus wrote) is awesome, and I just love watching all the sassy little girls in the crowd gettin’ DOWN as they belt out Rihanna’s refrain. To find out more about this amazing school chorus (which has recorded with the band Passion Pit!), check out their blog. Keep reading »
