German designer Anka Domaske hit upon a brilliant idea — why not make clothes out of milk fiber? Milk fiber strongly mimics silk, after all, but is easier to wash and care for, and much less expensive to produce. With that in mind, Domaske created Mademoiselle Chic Chic. “The special thing about it is that we can manufacture it without using any pesticides or chemicals,” she explains. And the milk used to produce the line is actually undrinkable, and would have otherwise been thrown out, so her collection is superbly sustainable, too! [Buzzfeed

This week on “My Strange Addiction,” we met 33-year-old Tamara and her pillow Boo. This pair has history. They’ve been together since 1982, when she found him at an antique shop, but their connection deepened when she leaned on Boo (literally) as a coping mechanism after being molested. Even though Boo has never been washed, Tamara insists he’s not stinky. But she doesn’t really care what anyone thinks of Boo. Not the president … or her boyfriend. Uh, she has a boyfriend? And I’m single? I’m sorry, let me not make light of her problem. Please note: this is an example of the importance of receiving therapy after a trauma. [Jezebel] Keep reading »
We’ve all done things we aren’t proud of when we needed to earn some extra scratch: this is Lindsay Lohan
‘s moment right here. While she was under house arrest, LiLo filmed a bizarro commercial for Air New Zealand called “On The Skycouch With Rico” which shows her chilling with a creepy puppet (what is
that?) and being given some jewelry. Rico jokes, “Don’t worry, it’s all paid for” — a reference, of course, to the allegations that she stole a necklace.
I’m glad Lindsay is laughing throughout this commercial because it is a hot D-list mess. I mean, puppets? Really, Lindsay? Someone cast this woman in a movie soon, please? This is getting embarrassing. [TMZ] Keep reading »
You’ve oohed and ahh-ed over the fashion closet at Zoe HQ, but what exactly does Rachel Zoe‘s personal closet look like? The stylist and budding fashion designer let ABC News’ Juju Chang into her room-sized closet, which houses the clothes she wears. Of course there were designer threads and It-bags, but Zoe’s wall of signature sky-high heels captivated Chang the most. Zoe reveals that she wore her dangerously high stilettos and platforms while carrying son Skyler Morrison, but says the shoes must come off before she holds him now. We would most definitely love to live in Zoe’s closet, not only because it holds her clothing collection, but also because there’s so much space. Yeah, we’re jealous! Keep reading »
