Amy Sedaris Demonstrates How To Clean Your (Felt) Vagina

Amy Sedaris was hilarious on a recent episode of “Chelsea Lately” — seriously, I would love to have a slumber party with those two. The best part is when she says she used to go to acting auditions and perform monologues from the female body tomb “Our Bodies Ourselves”. Classic. Keep reading »

Monday Menage: Guitar Hero’s Risky Business

America’s hottest athletes have recreated Tom Cruise’s infamous pants off dance off scerne in “Risky Business”. Okay, so I know the ménage typically comes in trois/three, and there are four players here. However, there were only three boys brave enough to really show some skin. Seriously, Kobe Bryant totally wussed out with those basketball shorts. But still, you had me at Tony Hawk riding in on a skateboard wearing nuthin’ but a helmet and a drum kit. And those boxer briefs really show off A-Rod’s awesome butt! I’d love to see the bonus footage from this shoot, if you know what I mean. [World of Wonder]

Mad Men: Peggy Olson’s Choice & Betty Draper’s Lack Of One

Last night’s episode of “Mad Men” was a rough one. Rough because it was the last one of the season — but the show has been picked up for season three — and rough because I didn’t think my heart could break any more for Betty Draper. The dichotomy between her life and Peggy’s was glaring — Betty has found out she’s pregnant and despite hinting to her doctor and to her friend that she “cannot have a baby right now”, she does not have the right to choose. Her doctor says she is a woman of means; her friend seems deaf to Betty’s hint that she wants to end her pregnancy. And so, in the end, she screwed a guy in a bar powder room and then took Don back.

Don Draper’s Guide To Picking Up Women

Last night, my boyfriend, I mean, Jon Hamm (Don Draper on “Mad Men”) hosted “Saturday Night Live” — he was actually very, very funny! He IS perfect. Sigh. Anyway, in the skit above, Don Draper delivers his “Guide To Picking Up Women”. Quite honestly, this would work on me. Full transcript, after the jump. Keep reading »

The 10 Most Influential Women Of 2008: Sarah Haskins

The guys at AskMen.com unveiled their list of the “49 Most Influential Men of 2008″ and the results, voted on by their readers, may surprise you. Check out the full list and then, over the next two weeks, check out our picks for the “10 Most Influential Women of 2008″ — The Frisky picked a female counterpart for each of the men in AskMen’s Top Ten. We hope you agree with our choices!

#8 — Our Pick: Sarah Haskins
AskMen’s Pick: Rob Kay

We had to make a bit of a leap with this pick, as Rob Kay is the dude who created the video game Rock Band and I could not, for the life of me, think of any female video game influencers because, duh, we, in general, don’t play video games. But we do like VIDEOS! One of our favorite web video stars is Sarah Haskins, who has her own show, “Target Women”, on Current. Every few weeks she tackles a new topic facing women with her hysterical, dead-pan, feminist perspective. Whether she’s talking about women and pooping or women and Sarah Palin, she always hits the nail on the head. Yes, we have a girl crush. And just because we have a lot of girl crushes, doesn’t mean the one we have on her isn’t extra special. Keep reading »

Bush Meets Palin On “Weekend Update Thursday”

On last night’s “Weekend Update Thursday” — “Saturday Night Live”‘s special election coverage — Will Ferrell showed up to do a skit as George W. Bush, with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin. It was gosh darn hysterical and definitely a teaser for the material Ferrell is going to do in his upcoming comedy show, “You’re Welcome America — A Final Night With George W. Bush”, coming to Broadway in February 2009. One quibble about the skit — Tina’s new bangs are all wrong. [Variety] Keep reading »
