Generally, we tend to think that hair belongs where it came from: On your head or on your pubes and nowhere else. But thanks to crazies like Lady Gaga, who has been waltzing around town with dresses and hats made of human hair, it would seem that’s all changing. Would You Wear: Velvet Shorts In Winter?

The tights-and-shorts combo in winter isn’t for everyone. Personally, I’ve been a fan since I was a kid, but have specific requirements (heavy wool or tweed fabrics, dark colors). When I saw these Madewell by Alexa Chung shorts, I was brought back to the late ’90s when crushed velvet was all the rage, and yup, I definitely had a pair of velvet shorts.
