Fashion’s Night Out is upon us! And now for a very trying question: Would you rather celebrate the event in New York City or Paris? Interestingly, FNO already happened in Paris, and unfortunately it was no big whoop. We were there and trust us, the NYC lineup sounds like Disneyland on crack compared to what went on in gay Paree. To be in la France, you do get the amazing benefit of being in the fashion capital of the world … but you’d probably get the “real” Fashion’s Night Out experience in New York. Even though Talbots has gotten a bit more with-it in recent years, it still doesn’t take away from the fact that your mom eagerly awaits the arrival of the store’s catalogue in her mailbox each month. You’d certainly make her very happy to be clad in khakis on the cover. On the other hand, having your butt star in an American Apparel campaign would make you famous for life and probably get you laid for almost as long. There’s been a lot of talk lately about Miss Taylor Momsen‘s style. She’s doing the whole rebellious teenager thing, which, to be honest, is cool — we get it. (Full disclosure: Some of us were goths back in the day.) Girl has got a lot of guts but at the same time gets a bit more territorial about her image with each day, describing it as “high-class hooker” and saying she can’t stand leather jackets on pop stars. Would you rather … never wear a bra again or never put on makeup for the rest of your life? The key question here is at which point does burden outweigh pleasure? Bras might not be a fun thing to wear most of the time, but they do hold your boobs in, and they can be fun to wear. Same goes for makeup (not the boob part)—cosmetics can make you look pretty and can be enjoyable, but are also a bit of a pain to apply everyday, and for a lot of us, clogs pores and makes our true skin worse. Would You Rather … Tattoo Your Own Name Or Your Boyfriend’s Name On Your Butt?

Welcome to Would You Rather, a game in which we concoct hypothetical style dilemmas and ask you to choose which option’s worse.

Today’s challenge: If you had to get a tattoo on your butt, and had only the choice between inking yourself with your own name or your boyfriend’s name, which would it be? And we’re not talking any small affair here, we’re talking full-out designed cursive, preferably with a heart or dove motif. The boyfriend’s name might work out in the end if you stay together for life … but if you split up, you will then have to explain to every new guy you sleep with who Pauly D, Ronnie or “The Situation” is. (Sorry, couldn’t help it.) Put your own name on there, and it’s kind of like branding yourself, but also a good reminder should you ever find yourself so drunk you can’t remember your name. (Eek, we hope not!) And to those readers who may already have their guy’s name or their own name tattooed down there, you can still play because you’re awesome.

Today’s challenge: Would you rather appear completely naked (we’re talking full-frontal, vag-in-view nudity) on the cover of Vogue, or appear fully-clothed in a Playboy spread? Strip for a classy mag, and most supermarket shoppers will now know what your ta-tas look like. Stay clothed for the porn publication, and you may get less exposure (if they keep the Playboy issues behind the counter), but your reputation might suffer … especially if your face happens to appear right next to the MTV reality star du jour’s vag.
