Russell Brand quotes Oscar Wilde as easily as he rocks his ridiculously teased hair. He’s sexy, he’s suave, but, above all, he’s smart and he isn’t afraid to speak his mind. Despite getting flack for openly teasing the Jonas Brothers about their chastity rings and the “retarded cowboy President” Bush at the VMA’s last night, I thought [Me too! -- Editor] Brand stole the show with his off-handed hilarious comments — of course an accent makes everything sound better. Sure, the hole in the ozone is probably caused by the amount of hairspray he uses on his hair-do, but damn the boy is fine and funny! From guyliner to his groovy anti-establishment attitude, who is this one man British invasion named Russell Brand?

Who IS Levi Johnston, Anyway?

Besides sharing a name with Matthew McConaughey’s son, Levi Johnston is also the soon-to-be father of Bristol Palin’s baby. He’s also, um, totally hot, if a bit Abercrombie for my taste. So who is this little rabble-rouser who has helped bring such scandalous national attention to the selection of Sarah Palin as John McCain’s running mate?

LOVES: There’s only one woman in Levi’s life as far as we can tell. The high school student (conflicting reports say he’s either 17 or 18) has been dating 17-year-old Bristol for at least five months — that’s how far along she is in her pregnancy — and according to the Palin camp, the two are planning on getting married. There are some conspiracy theorists who think that Bristol and Levi are already married — Levi’s sister Mercede’s MySpace page, which was public this weekend but is now set to private, referred to Sarah Palin as “Mommy Inlaw” (sic). Whatever the case may be, Levi is already such a part of the Palin family that he’s even headed to the Republican National Convention to hear his future mama-in-law speak!

Hey! Did you watch the last night of the Democratic National Convention and see Barack Obama’s history making acceptance speech? Pretty powerful stuff huh? Well, not wanting to be overshadowed, John McCain woke up this morning and decided to make a little history of his own, by choosing a WOMAN as his running mate. While Geraldine Ferraro was the Democratic nominee for Vice-President alongside Walter Mondale, the Republican party has never had a female VP nominee. Who IS Jill Biden, Anyway?

Now that Barack Obama has chosen Joe Biden as his running mate — and he’s due to speak tonight at the DNC — we decided to indulge our curiosity about his wife Jill. Is she as awesome as Michelle? Does she have a steely stare like Cindy McCain? Does she appreciate a pantsuit? Here’s the scoop on the potential Mrs. Vice-President.

FAMILY: Born Jill Jacobs in 1951, Jill is actually Joe Biden’s second wife. His first wife, Neilia died in a car accident, along with their baby daughter Naomi, in 1972, shortly after he was elected to the Senate. Joe Biden was actually sworn into office at the bedside of his young son Beau, who was also injured in the crash. Five years later, Jill and Joe were married in the Roman Catholic Church. The two met after he saw her picture in a local paper, and by coincidence his brother set him up with her. Jill raised his boy Beau and Robert as if they were her own — the two even included the boys in the wedding ceremony and took them on the honey moon — and also welcomed daughter Ashley. They now also are grandparents to five and live in Biden’s state of Delaware. Joe Biden is known for making the long commute from D.C. to Delaware every night to be with his family.
