    Who IS Olivia Palermo, Anyway?

By now you’ve probably watched an episode of “The City” or have spent at least 10 seconds wondering why such do-nothing people get their own TV shows. One of those do-nothings is Olivia Palermo, Whitney Port’s “co-worker” at Diane von Furstenberg and her fellow “City” castmate. She’s also who I so lovingly refer to as C-Face, as I think she is possibly one of the most vapidly coniving people every on television. That said, outside of the New York social scene, Olivia is not well-known at all, despite acting as if she’s the bee’s knees. So who is this creature that our hero Kelly Cutrone literally guffawed over? All the info, after the jump. Keep reading »

Everything You Need To Know About The Cast Of “The City”

So, exciting stuff. Tonight on MTV both “Bromance” and “The City” premiere. And I am going to be liveblogging the latter, starting at 10pm EST. But before then, I thought we should probably prep you on the cast of “The City” — while we already know Whitney from her amazing work, cough, on “The Hills,” the rest of the cast is pretty unfamiliar. Let’s find out who “The City”‘s versions of Lauren, Audrina, and Heidi are, according to their bios on MTV.com… Keep reading »

Whitney Port Arrives In New York

Whitney Port, formerly of “The Hills,” moved to New York a couple months ago to work for designer Diane von Furstenburg. Come Dec. 29, she’s back on MTV in “The City,” which is “The Hills” on the other coast. We hope this doesn’t ruin Whitney for us. She always seemed like the smartest, most-together cast member on “The Hills.” From the short preview above, it seems that Whitney will hang with socialite Olivia Palermo and be fought over by two cute boys. First Look: Whitney Port’s Fashion Line

Two pieces from Whitney Port’s fashion line are now available at Kitson Online. While certainly more fancy pants and glimmery than co-star Lauren Conrad’s collection, the pieces do retail at a high cost — between $345 and $495. Check out the other dress after the jump. Do we likey? I likey the similar stuff you can buy at Forever 21 more. [Shop Kitson] Keep reading »

Whitney Port, from The Hills, manages to infuse even the most daring items with sleek femininity and sophistication for a unique sense of style. Whitney loves to mix it up by playing with the unexpected and not being afraid to try a range of looks, from demure and dainty to scandalous and sexy. She’s a big fan of adding offbeat elements, like a rare vintage top or statement-making accessories; to showcase her utterly unique sense of style that is so effortless. Keep reading »

Romance On TV: Will Lauren & Brody, Not To Mention Heidi’s Face, Ever Be The Same?

Whoa, The Hills in all its scripted glory, was awesome. It should always be an hour! The show, back for a mini-interim season, started off with Lauren and Whitney headed to Paris to help out Teen Vogue at the Crillon Ball, a fancy-schmancy debutante event for rich socialite kids. Within, like, seconds of landing at Charles de Gaulle Airport, Whitney and Lauren immediately start to slack off on their, you know, jobs by opting to pick up their ball gowns instead of running Teen Vogue errands, while Lauren finds out Brody has managed to find a girlfriend since she left L.A. Seriously, time moves fast in LC’s world. Back in L.A., Spencer is shedding a tear into his beer because Heidi has headed back to the homey, unpretentious Colorado town that managed to spit out her trashtastic, gossip-chasing self, in order to get some breathing room from their sad little relationship.
