Today I saw Alex McCord (from “The Real Housewives of New York City”) and her husband Simon downstairs at the deli. Alex and I both were getting tacos so I took the opportunity to discreetly express my disappointment that she was no longer on RHONY. She said she doesn’t miss it. Just thought you should know. Let’s see what we’re wearing today!
This week has brought a couple of must reads into The Frisky offices: yesterday, Jessica got a copy of Feminist Ryan Gosling (which I promptly swiped), and today, I scored a copy of 8 Weeks to Everlasting: A Step-by-Step Guide to Getting (and Keeping) the Guy You Want by “Miss Advised”‘s resident crazy-eyed matchmaker Amy Laurent. I cannot wait to read it and bring you the highlights. I’m sure it’s going to be very, very good.
And now for what we’re wearing today…
Booooooo! It’s Intern Shannen’s last day. We will miss her and her rompers. Click through to see what we’re wearing today and then big her a fond farewell, k?
This morning it was so hot and sunny that I had sweat pouring down my face on the way to work. Now it is apocalyptically raining outside, thunder and lightning shaking and lighting up the windows. Oh summer weather, how you keep us on our toes. Let’s see what we’re wearing today!
When the temperature hits 90 degrees, all the ladies wear shorrrrrt shorrrrrrts.
I meant to tell you guys a random story yesterday and I forgot, so I’m going to tell you now. Indulge me. So, yesterday at lunch, I went to get a salad at the deli downstairs from our office. Now, generally I am grossed out by what other people put in their salads because they often contain odd combinations (beets and tuna? No thank you!). I have gotten used to this, however, and have learned to control my gag reflex. However, yesterday, I almost couldn’t contain myself — the woman in front of me in line asked for MAYONNAISE as her dressing. Now, I am firmly on Team Mayo. I enjoy it on my sandwiches. But as dressing on a salad? I realize many dressings have mayo in them but a big ol’ dollop of the white stuff? On top of the shrimp, plain tuna and baby corn already in her salad? I left traumatized. I needed to share. Anyway, with that fresh in your mind, let’s see what we’re wearing today…
