I just started watching “Friday Night Lights” (I know, you guys, I know), and obviously I’m obsessed with Tami Taylor. Best. Mom. Ever. Who else can give amazing advice, crack brilliantly sarcastic jokes, serve as the moral compass of an entire town, maintain a flawless hair style, and whip up 200 Rice Krispie treats at the drop of a hat? Speaking of Rice Krispie treats, my plans for the weekend include watching 50 episodes of FNL and eating a pan of these ridiculously decadent cookie dough crispy treats. Care to join me? In my endless quest to de-clutter my house and become more like one of those minimalist Danish people that get featured in O magazine, I’m trying to keep household surfaces clear. Despite my best efforts, there are always a few necessities–sunglasses, pens, save-the-date cards, etc.–floating around my living room. This adorable fabric wall pocket is such a brilliant solution, and guess what? There’s no sewing required! Just pick out a couple pieces of cute fabric and stretch them over an embroidery hoop. I’m feeling more Danish already. [Abernathy Crafts]

Wearing flip-flops and going barefoot whenever possible is a fun and refreshing summer tradition, but man, it makes for ugly feet. Why not treat your feetsies to a homemade strawberry scrub that will leave them soft, smooth, and smelling decidedly more delicious than sweat and sidewalk? All it takes is three ingredients–strawberries, olive oil, and sea salt. Just mix it up and massage onto your feet to thank them for all their hard work. [Homemade Wellbeing]

Based on a very unscientific opinion survey, approximately 90% of people think red wine fudgesicles are proof of divine intervention, while the other 10 percent (ahem, Julie) gags at the thought of them. If you’re part of the majority who would love a refreshing lick of wine and chocolate on a stick, check out the recipe here. Cheers to summer! [A Beautiful Mess]

I get easily intimidated by Martha Stewart’s craft projects, because Martha is a crafting goddess and I definitely fall into the “crafting mortal” category. That being said, these fabric flower rings look genuinely easy to make (as long as you’re confident with a hot glue gun), and I love the result: so dainty and pretty. Martha recommends giving them out to your bridesmaids. Personally? I’ll be making a full bouquet to wear myself. [Martha Stewart]

We love the look of ombre anything, and these denim cutoffs are no exception. Want to customize a pair of your own this weekend? It’s super easy–all you need is RIT dye and a bucket (or a sink, or an empty potato salad container, or whatever). We think a lighter colored denim would look amazing with a cobalt blue dye, but hey, there’s only one way to find out! [Honestly WTF]
