Model Shannan Click And Train Wreck Lindsay Lohan Separated At Birth?

Model Shannan Click’s bronzer-heavy Vogue cover looks so much like Lindsay Lohan that we did a double take. The wavy blond hair, fedora-lovin’ and excessive eyeliner all have us a little nervous that Lindsay is about to announce her new career as a high-fashion stylist, in which case we’ll all have to move to some remote place far, far away from magazines. Ideas, anyone? [Huffington Post] Keep reading »

Would You Rather: Appear Nude On A Vogue Cover, Or Fully-Clothed In A Playboy Spread?

Welcome to Would You Rather, a game in which we concoct hypothetical style dilemmas and ask you to choose which option’s worse.

Today’s challenge: Would you rather appear completely naked (we’re talking full-frontal, vag-in-view nudity) on the cover of Vogue, or appear fully-clothed in a Playboy spread? Strip for a classy mag, and most supermarket shoppers will now know what your ta-tas look like. Stay clothed for the porn publication, and you may get less exposure (if they keep the Playboy issues behind the counter), but your reputation might suffer … especially if your face happens to appear right next to the MTV reality star du jour’s vag. Anna Under The Influence

Anna Wintour‘s recent outrage over Miss Lily, a Jamaican restaurant she thinks will bring excessive noise to her West Village neighborhood, has inspired some interesting art. Illustrated Anna looks pretty comfortable with that joint, don’t you think? Check out one more drawing by AleXsandro Palombo (of Anna’s daughter Bee), after the jump… [Fashion Indie] Keep reading »

Jumping Through The Ages

As far as editorials go, few things are more fun than a good jump shot. And while Caroline Trentini’s Vogue leap (pictured) has epitomized the jump shot for the past several seasons, she owes her inspiration to photographer Phillipe Hallsman, the man who more or less invented the technique. Hallsman captured everyone from Marilyn Monroe to Audrey Hepburn in mid-air long before Caroline was even a fetus, and for this adorable posing style, we thank him. Hallsman’s airborne work is currently on display at Laurence Miller Gallery in New York, but you can also check out a sampling of it on the internetz right now. Better yet, grab a camera and jump around a little yourself; it’s what Anna Wintour would want. [Fashionista] Keep reading »

Vogue Italy Predicts Crazy Hair Color Trends

As far as eye-catching goes, this hair editorial from the May issue of Vogue Italy is that and then some. These knock-off-your-socks hair colors modeled by Sasha Pivovarova, styled by Sam McKnight, and photographed by Emma Summerton include Flame, Lavender, and Pink. Seen here: a hint of bubble gum. We’ve see some of these hair trends out and about already — take, for example, women dyeing their hair gray on purpose, rather than hiding it. Surely, for locks this extreme, we’d recommend not trying this at home and letting your hairstylist handle your maxi-makeover. For hair-on-fire and grandma-violet, check out the rest after the jump. “ANTM” Cycle 15 Winner Gets Vogue Italia Photoshoot

The winner of next season’s “America’s Next Top Model” can look forward to the standard prizes — a contract with a major modeling agency, up close and personal views of Miss Jay’s legs — but also an Italian Vogue cover. “ANTM” followers will know that the standard editorial prize offering is a shoot with Seventeen and the switch to Vogue is a major upgrade. Don’t get us wrong, Seventeen is a decent magazine, but it’s no Vogue Italia. Where Seventeen features models trying to make it, Vogue is more or less for the ones who’ve already arrived. Given that “ANTM” has always claimed to be a career-maker but generally had limited success in actually launching a successful career, this seems like a step towards making good on the promise of being a real supermodel machine. Blake Lively’s (Gossip) Girls — What Happened To Them?

Ever since she became somewhat of a household name thanks to “Gossip Girl,” there’s been speculation that Blake Lively had her breasts augmented. But you’d never know there’d be a reason for rumors like that by looking at the photo on the left of Blake in the June issue of Vogue. They’ve airbrushed her cleavage away! Considering the actress shows up to most red carpet events in outfits that show off her bosoms, this is especially weird. Check out the Vogue cover, after the jump! [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
