Any excuse for a new red lipstick is a good excuse, right? The airline Virgin Atlantic has debuted its own lipstick, Upper Class Red, in collaboration with actual makeup purveyors bareMinerals. Random! The color is modeled after Virgin uniforms and the airline’s “grooming manager” explained the lipstick’s blue undertones are universally flattering. Female flight attendants will be wearing Upper Class Red to work, while the rest of us can buy the $23 lippy through Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse Spas or the airline’s in-flight shopping magazine.
