Watch The Jump Roping World Champion Do Things You’ve Only Dreamed Of

OMFG
Watch The Jump Roping World Champion Do Things You've Only Dreamed Of
Tori Boggs' jump roping skills will blow your mind

I’m impressed by someone who can skip rope for more than 30 seconds without tripping on the thing. Double Dutch is like beyond impressive to me. But what nine-time world rope-skipping champion and captain of the U.S. National Jump Rope Team Tori Boggs can do with a jump rope blows my damn mind. Her skills are so out of this world that they earned her a full scholarship to Ohio State University. I didn’t know there was a such thing as competitive jump roping, but now that I do, I must learn how to do these things. As Joey Lawrence would say, WHOA. [Huffington Post]

I Challenge You Not To Tear Up After Watching This Baby’s Tearful Reaction To Her Mother’s Singing

I Challenge You Not To Tear Up After Watching This Baby's Tearful Reaction To Her Mother's Singing
It's Only A Song!

Anyone got a baby a girl could borrow for a week or two? This video of ten-month-old Mary Lynne Leroux’s emotional reaction to her singing mother is enough to put me over the edge for the day. With emotion. There is just so much emotion to be had here! [via Gawker]

Period, The Musical

Period the musical
"Period Piece" Is Musical Theater At Its Finest

Broadway seems to be out of ideas for original musicals and YouTube user Lena D has a penned a beautiful song that so many women can relate to. They can come together and make one of the most hard-hitting musicals that the Great White Way has seen in a while. I’m envisioning it now: “Period Piece” is the opening number of a musical about one young woman’s journey from period shame to acceptance. Of course, there will be romance, tampons and tons of chocolate. Other numbers may include “Jam Rag,” “Un-pregnation,” “Bitch Ticket” and “Leak Week.” Can we please make this happen? [Jezebel]

Watch This 4-Year-Old Perform "A Few Good Men" In The Bath
Future Oscar Winner!

I mean, to be able to memorize a monologue like that is hard when you’re Jack Nicholson. I’m particularly impressed with the way he splashes for dramatic effect. This four-year-old has a bright future in the biz. [Videogum]

Watch This: What If Horror Movie Characters Made Good Decisions?

Hell No Horror Movie
"Should we split up?" "HELL NO!"

Even the best horror movie storylines hinge on the main characters making very, very poor decisions. From exploring an abandoned mental institution to spending the weekend at a serial killer’s cabin to pushing play on a cursed videotape to taking every opportunity to split up and explore dark corners alone, horror movie characters are always severely lacking in common sense. This hilarious preview for an imaginary horror movie called “Hell No!” introduces us to something never before seen in the horror genre: sensible characters who do sensible things. You’ll hardly believe your eyes. [YouTube via The Mary Sue]

I Wouldn't Have School Spirit Without A Couple Vodka Waters

Like Ole Miss student Shelby Herring, we never had much school spirit.

But unlike Shelby Herring, we never got our school spirit by day drinking and then drunkenly blathered on camera, thus becoming the Internet’s newest viral video star. In between answering important questions about what’s a “hotty totty” and her favorite quarterbacks, Miss Herring chugs champagne, drops her mike, and shares bits of gold like, “Ole Miss, we may have lower IQs, I have a higher IQ than most people, no, that’s a lie. We have fun and we don’t ever miss a party!” Um, okay.

She is strangely endearing, if not the model Ole Miss student. And hey, what is Shelby’s friend doing this whole time?! Girl, with your friends start drunkenly blathering on camera, that’s when you pull them away. [AdWeek, Twitter.com/ShelbyClaireH]

Macklemore Prank Calls Lady On Craigslist Scalping His Tickets

macklemore prank calls
"I Don't Know If The Bloke's Worth $65 A Ticket ..."

Awkward. Macklemore called up a woman who was scalping tickets to one of his shows on Craigslist and gabbed to her for about five minutes in a (terrible) fake British-y accent. As far as prank calls go, it’s more uncomfortable than funny — he sounds like a lonely weirdo. But it’s kind of amazing when he reveals to the scalper that she’s actually talking to Macklemore himself the whole time … and then she kinda regrets the parts where she talked shit about him.  [YouTube]

You know you’ve made it life when you make a seduction video for a lady you’re wooing and it’s so special that it lands you an “Inside Edition” interview. Such was the case for #StarbucksDrakeHands guy, known in real life as Brody “Odag” Ryan Curtis. An aspiring something-or-other creative type, Brody works as barista at a Los Angeles Starbucks. Just until fame finds him. Which it seems to have. But according to Brody, he never met model Piper Kennedy (the girl who made his video infamous) at Starbucks. The real scoop about how the “Drake Hands” video came to be after the jump. Keep reading »

Oops! Weatherman Accidentally Eats Cat Vomit On Live TV

Oops! Weatherman Accidentally Eats Cat Vomit On Live TV
It was actually cat vomit...

Scot Haney, the weatherman on Hartford’s WFSB morning show, made a series of bad on-air decisions yesterday. His first mistake was eating what he thought were Grape Nuts off the floor. As if eating food of the ground on live TV wasn’t awkward enough, Haney immediately noted that the cereal tasted “like shoes,” adding, “I don’t think those were Grape Nuts.” As we all know, Grape Nuts aren’t the the most flavorful breakfast cereal, but they sure as hell don’t taste like shoes. Well, SURPRISE! Haney was correct! He didn’t eat Grape Nuts, he ate tiny particles of cat vomit, which he tracked with him to work that morning. Excuse me while I go puke on my shoe and eat it, mistaking it for Grape Nuts. [The Daily Dot]

Little Boy Shares Adorable Inner Monologue While Pooping
He ate too much and doesn't know why...

Ugh! We we’ve all been there: eaten too much and didn’t know why. Found ourselves on the porcelain throne, regretting it. This little boy is learning the hard truth that when you eat too many  apples, poutine, cheesestring, pickle chips, peanut butter and raisins, chocolate thingies, more chocolate thingies and gummies, that your poo might overflow the toilet. This is a good lesson to learn at such a young age. [Gawker]
