Honey Maid Shuts Down Homophobes With Amazing “Love” Ad

Honeymaid Love Ad
Love Conquers Hate.

Last month, Honey Maid, the maker of graham crackers and Teddy Grahams, debuted a new ad campaign called “This Is Wholesome.” The commercial featured loving images of gay and interracial families. The sweet 30 seconds of TV time predictably outraged homophobic groups like One Million Moms (which, it should be noted, only has 64,000 followers on Facebook). Angry letters were sent. Boycott threats were made. And then Honey Maid did something awesome: instead of bowing down to the homophobes, they actually stood behind their message of tolerance and inclusion in a really beautiful way, hiring two artists to transform the hateful response into an inspiring message of love. The result is this video, a powerful reminder that the tides are turning, and hate is losing. I’ve watched it three times, cried three times, and now I really want some chocolate chip Teddy Grahams. Honey Maid: mission accomplished! [Jezebel]

Oh My God: Samuel L. Jackson Performs A Slam Poem About “Boy Meets World”

Samuel L. Jackson Performs "Boy Meets World" Slam Poem
Topanga. Topanga. Topanga.

It’s a great day when you wake up and see the words “Samuel L. Jackson performs a slam poem about ‘Boy Meets World’” trending on your social media sites, click on it, and realize it’s not some cruel April Fool’s Joke. This spoken word ode to everyone’s favorite ’90s sitcom, facilitated by Jimmy Fallon, is as real as it fucking gets. Samuel L. Jackson’s delivery is flawless, and the last few lines legit gave me goosebumps. We love you too, Mr. Feeny. Class dismissed. [YouTube]

“This Is A Trent Reznor Song” Is An On Point Parody Of Nine Inch Nails

Trent Reznor Song Parody
Are We Sure This Is A Parody?

You guys, I love Trent Reznor and am a huuuuuge Nine Inch Nails fan. Like, I have stopped being friends with people because they said something mean about Trent once at a party when they were drunk and “Capital G” started playing on the host’s iPod shuffle. And despite my fierce loyalty for Trent (or perhaps because of it?), I cannot stop laughing at this amazing NIN parody song/video from comedian Freddy Scott. Everything about it — from the music to the lyrics to the strange, dark video — is absolutely perfect. [Rolling Stone]

In Which A 67-Year-Old Teaches Us About Sperm Facials

"All you need is a lover…"

Best-selling author (that term is used loosely in this case), life coach, couples counselor and tantric guide Stella Ralfini reveals the secret to having radiant, wrinkle-free skin at the age of 67: lots and lots of semen masks, a soft-focus lens and poor lighting. In a brilliant YouTube video, Ralfini describes how to do the beauty treatment at home:

“All you need is a lover but if you don’t have one, you know what to do. All you need to do is, every ten days or two weeks, just both have a good time, make sure he has a good time, and when your beautiful love-making session is over, you are going to scoop this amazing sperm mask up in your fingers, put it on your face, leave it for fifteen minutes and wash it off.”
