Vince Vaughn Wants You To Call His Daughter By Her Real Name

“If I just called her ‘Baby,’ then she’ll love the movie ‘Dirty Dancing,’ but she won’t know her proper name. No one puts her in a corner.”

Ralphie Of “A Christmas Story” Now A Hot Producer

With TBS playing “A Christmas Story” for 24 hours straight last week, you no doubt watched the classic ’80s flick at least once. And you probably thought to yourself the same question we did: I wonder where Ralphie is now? Well, The New York Daily News has done the legwork for us on that one. The bluest eyed kid on the planet—whose real name is Peter Billingsley—isn’t acting so much anymore, though he does do the occasional bit part. But he’s still in Hollywood—he’s a producer whose credits include “Iron Man,” “The Break Up,” “Made” and “Four Christmases.” (I’m guessing he’s buds with Vince Vaughn?) He also directed “Couples Retreat.” And is a super hottie. We’re glad you didn’t shoot your eye out, Ralphie. [NY Daily News] Keep reading »

Vince Vaughn Wants To Keep Gay Joke In Movie

Last week, Anderson Cooper expressed disapproval over a gay slur included in a trailer (watch above) for a new Vince Vaughn movie. Universal has since agreed to remove the joke from the movie under pressure from GLAAD, but Vaughn thinks it should stay, saying:

“Let me add my voice of support to the people outraged by the bullying and persecution of people for their differences, whatever those differences may be. Comedy and joking about our differences breaks tension and brings us together. Drawing dividing lines over what we can and cannot joke about does exactly that; it divides us. Most importantly, where does it stop.”

Anderson Cooper Calls Out Vince Vaughn

“I was sitting in a movie theater over the weekend and there was a preview of a movie, and in it, the actor said, ‘that’s so gay,’ and I was shocked that not only that they put it in the movie, but that they put that in the preview. They thought that it was okay to put that in a preview for the movie to get people to go and see it.”

Anderson Cooper talking to Ellen DeGeneres about the subtle way bullying is encouraged by the entertainment industry. P.S. He’s talking about Vince Vaughn in “The Dilemma” trailer. Tsk tsk, Vince. [Huffington Post] Keep reading »
