The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show won’t air on television until December 10, so if you’re the type of person that likes to see the looks live for the first time (do those people exist?), SPOILER ALERT. Sexiness is in the eye of the beholder, to be certain, but if these over-the-top outfits are the brand’s idea of sexy, well, all’s fair in lingerie and war. This year’s themes were “British Invasion,” “Birds of Paradise,” “Parisian Nights,” “Shipwrecked,” “Snow Angels,” and “PINK Network.” Sure, fine, but let’s see how they did!

I try to restrain myself from straying too far down the rabbit hole of the vaguely dehumanizing, inherently anti-feminist fuckery that is Victoria’s Secret, but that was before I knew they gave out a “Sexiest Curves” trophy. Sure, if they simply must do it, I’m glad they decided to give it to Shakira, a wildly talented dancer, philanthropist, and MENSA genius who also happens to be beautiful… But why? It’s terrible. We were so pulling for Kylie Bisutti, the former winged-underwear model. After all, Victoria’s Secret models are usually only known for doing one of two things: losing all their baby weight in two weeks or dating Adam Levine. Bisutti, on the (wayyy) other hand, left the coveted model position last year because it was clashing with her Christian values. She moved with her husband to Montana where she wrote her memoir, I’m No Angel: From Victoria’s Secret Model To Role Model, and began her new clothing line, God inspired fashion.
