UK woman Velma Lyrae gets pain in her ears, stabbing in her head and red-hot poker sensations when she gets anywhere near a cellphone or wifi. Some would call this a psychosomatic disorder or paranoid schizophrenia, but she insists she is sane and suffering from Electromagnetic Hypersensitivity Syndrome (EHS).
“ I [would] feel a huge agitation when using the computer, but I thought it was just because I didn’t have the technological skills … Now I know that I was starting to feel the symptoms of my EHS. I don’t have a job and my social life is non-existent,” Lyrae explains. Keep reading »
