Sometimes a 17-year-old pop star is just that — a big, goofy 17-year-old who wants to make out with his girlfriend all the time and have blue balls and sing trite, easily hummable lyrics about puppy love. So why, then, would V Magazine deign to put Justin Bieber in a friggin’ pith helmet? He’s got no clue what to do here. On the upside, he looks soooooo pretty. He’s like, the prettiest girl ever. Who’s That Heiress?

At first glance, I couldn’t tell who this was a photo of. The major bangs, vacant, heavily made-up eyes, and pointy lined lips threw me off — and creeped me out a bit. Turns out, this is a photo of Paris Hilton from the new issue of V — and the rest of the images are just as strange. Check ‘em out after the jump — did you recognize Paris or do you think she looks like someone (or something) else? [ONTD] Keep reading »

Gaga A Vision In Diamonte On The Cover Of V Magazine

Gaga in rainbows, Gaga in glitter, and now, Gaga envisioned as a gay butterfly and gothic gold-encrusted fairy on two special covers of V magazine. Is there anything fashion magazine stylists won’t do to this woman? [Racked] Keep reading »

Britney Spears Is Sick Of Showering In Arenas

“[If I wasn't famous] I’d be a full-time mom which would be cool. I’d miss my fans and all of the love the most, but I definitely would not miss having my picture taken everywhere I go. I wouldn’t miss showering in arenas either. So gross!”

Britney Spears in V magazine. Oh, the drawbacks of fame. Those arena showers. Do celebs really shower in arenas? Can’t they just have their chauffeur take them back to their 5-Star hotel and soak in the tub after a long concert? [V Magazine] Keep reading »

There’s A New Olsen In Town, And Elizabeth Is Her Name

V magazine features Elizabeth Olsen, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen‘s little sister, in its “Discovery” issue, which stars many of Hollywood’s young rising stars. Instead of using her sisters’ connections, Elizabeth studied acting and worked as an understudy. The V “Discovery” issue hits newsstands on January 13. [Fashionista] Keep reading »

“SNL”‘s Funny Woman Channels Three New Characters

Recognize that pretty face? It’s Kristen Wiig from “Saturday Night Live”! The show’s go-to gal was shot for the latest issue of V Magazine as three super-famous women — Carmen Miranda, Brigitte Bardot, and Frida Kahlo (above). But I gotta ask — where’s Frida’s famous uni-brow? If this were for “SNL,” Kristen would have gone all the way. Check out the other pics, after the jump … [Our Kitchen Sink] Keep reading »

We think Kirsten Dunst looks way better on the cover of V than she did in that turning Japanese video. Keep reading »

The B-Girl Stages A Comeback In V Magazine

V magazine is throwing it back to the early days of hip-hop/R&B with an editorial in their 64th issue. Models Liya Kebede and Lily Donaldson seem to be channeling rap pioneer Roxanne Shante and singer Lisa Lisa, respectively, with their neon colors, denim-on-denim, and dancer-inspired wear. They even have the essential ’80s accessory — a boombox. Check out two more photos after the jump. [Models.com via Clutch Magazine] Keep reading »

Quotable: Crystal Renn Says The Fashion Industry Is Full Of Outsiders

“I’ve always felt, in some ways, like an outsider. But that is the fashion industry. You know how that is. The creative one at the school, the outsider, the goth or the gay guy — whatever it is, they always get made fun of. I feel like they all got together and moved to New York City and made the fashion industry. And here I am. I feel right at home, very much accepted and very happy.”

— Plus-size model Crystal Renn tells V Magazine, in its “curvy issue,” she now feels at home in the industry she says once drove her to live on Diet Coke and sugar-free Jello-O to stay thin. [via Huffington Post] Keep reading »
