Facebook Relationship Status Change Ends In Tragedy

Last week I changed my relationship status on Facebook from “engaged” to “single”, since I had decided my break was now a breakup. Emma Forrester, a married woman in the U.K., changed her status to single too, only her husband responded by hacking her to death with a meat cleaver. Wayne Forrester told police he had been provoked by his wife changing her marital status on her Facebook entry, and had taken copious amounts of cocaine and alcohol before the murder. Fly Girl Too Sexy

The U.K.’s daily newspaper, The Sun, proudly runs a bare-breasted model every day called the Page 3 Girl. A brainchild of media mogul Rupert Murdoch, it’s been a topless tradition since the fitting date of 1969 and the magazine’s sales rose 40% in a year. As we all know, sex sells. Ryan Air, a budget European airline, was also hoping to bank on sex appeal with a new ad for spring breakers that featured a model dressed in midriff revealing schoolgirl uniform. Unfortunately, the totally safe for work ad has raised libidos and concerns from the British Advertising Standards Agency. Ryan Air, who has had a whopping nine ads banned, tops the ASA’s list of offensive advertisers. The agency claims this ad inappropriately sexualizes underage schoolgirls, but oh baby, baby, didn’t Britney Spears already do that a decade ago? See Through Clothes Camera

The new T5000 Camera, which is taking off this weekend at a British exhibition, will also be taking off people’s clothes. ThruVision promises their crafty cameras can see through clothing to identify any contents a person maybe carrying. Using T-ray (natural electromagnetic waves) technology that has been applied by the European Space Agency on dying stars, the camera will give the photographer x-ray vision. It produces a picture that distinguishes items — flour from cocaine, a plastic toy from a real gun — along with an outline of the body. Sure, the camera may be designed to search for an actual weapon, but it also could be used to check if your new sexy boyfriend is packing heat. Better yet, with this baby, you can even investigate Brad Pitt’s suspicious package. You just have to get within 80-feet of the target and then wham, bam, thank you ma’am! In the funny ad, a British hottie starts a sexy/gross food fight after seeing his wife bent over the refrigerator.
