Loose Lips: Robert Pattinson Should Be Scaring Women Away With The Things He Says

Out of all the “Twilight” stars, Robert Pattinson seems to be the one who has been sucked the furthest into the fame vortex. Mr. Edward Cullen has become a subject of obsession for tabloids and Twihards across the globe. Pattinson hysteria has reached the point where his face is on a variety of strange products and the actor is being bombarded by fans and paparazzi to the point where he got hit by a car while fleeing from them. As a counter strike to all this deep-seated infatuation, Pattinson seems to take any chance he can to say something so stupid or bizarre that it should send women running the other way. But because Pattinson is some strange aphrodisiac, the ladies won’t leave, no matter what he says. In a recent appearance on “The View,” Pattinson was asked about dating an older women. He replied, “I think Betty White is probably one of the sexiest women in America … She’s vibrant; it’s sexy. I think the more age the better.”

Great for Betty White—a bummer for those of us not carrying an AARP card. Keep on reading for some other off-kilter Rob quotes. Keep reading »

Meet Megan Fox’s Hand Model!

Though her hands certainly aren’t the body part that Megan Fox is best known for, those who follow The Fox know all about her toe thumbs and how relentlessly, um, unique they are. (Sorry girl, you can’t have everything!) When the club thumbs started getting as much publicity as Fox’s awesome-looking arse a few months back, those misshapen things took an ongoing hiatus from the limelight. That means everything from hiding them on magazine covers to hiring hand doubles for commercials and photo shoots. Now, ladies and gentlemen, Big Money would like to introduce you to Megan Fox’s hand double and the rest of the hand modeling heavy weights you’ve seen fondling your favorite products all over the TV. Meet the woman whose darling digits cradle that apple on the cover of Twilight after the jump. [Jezebel] Keep reading »

Cuddle Fight! Life-Size Edward And Jacob Body Pillows Want To Watch You Sleep

So this is creepy. Etsy seller Manllow has concocted the ultimate lonely “Twilight” fan’s companion — life-size body pillows that are “half man half pillow.” Edward and Jacob’s faces have been screen-printed over soft, snuggly pillow bodies for your cuddling pleasure! Unfortunately, the pillows are anatomically incorrect in their downstairs parts, like horrible Muppets. But Edward could watch you sleep, or Jacob could keep you warm and safe all night long, and the eternal war between vampires and werewolves could finally end.

At least Manllow has a healthy sense of humor, as she demonstrated when the internet exploded in response to these horrible Frankenpillow creations. She calls them: “The greatest gift of all time. 105% creepy and 5% lovable.” Yipes. Keep reading »

Kellan Lutz Wants To Show You His Underpants

I don’t know. Maybe there’s something in the air? It’s a guys-rolling-around-in-their-underpants videos kind of a week, I think. Yesterday, it was my boyfriend Ruslan. Today, it’s “Twilight” star Kellan Lutz. Frankly, I don’t know about his acting chops, but his ability to look good in his undies is Academy Award-winning. Suffice to say, Kellan is the 21st century’s Mark Wahlberg, but without the Boston accent. According to the man in the manties, Calvin Klein’s X underwear is “straight-up comfortable” and “holds you together.” And what, pray tell, does he mean by that? Since I don’t wear briefs, I could not tell you. It keeps your zucchini with your kiwis? It makes your butt cheeks tight? Who knows! I’ll believe whatever this buthisface tells me. Graphic Novels Gone Girly

Graphic novels have always suffered a geek taint, a stubborn case of social acne that alienates certain sects of people. There have always been a handful of Comic-Con cuties, but, overall, society has labeled graphic novels a man’s medium. Yen Press has a solution to bring some girl power to the graphic novel. The publisher is taking female-favored heavyweights and adapting them to fit this medium. This year, Yen Press will be introducing the first installments of both The Twilight Saga and Gossip Girl series. Twilight promises to be loyal to the original novels—Yen is even working with author Stephenie Meyer to capture the right money-making, heart-melting formula. Gossip Girl, on the other hand, is a re-imagining of the story with all the classic characters. I don’t think Twihards will have any problem taking to the new medium—heck, they’ll buy anything Forks-inspired. Gossip Girl may be harder to sell. What do you think—will manga-ized Serena and Bella bring a new surge of women to the graphic novel? [EW, MTV]

Forks, Washington: The Real Twilight Saga

In 2004, after “The O.C.” drew in a zillion viewers with its Seth Cohens and Marissa Coopers, MTV decided to launch a little reality show called “Laguna Beach” to show folks what it’s really like to be a teenager in Orange County. So it’s only natural that, after a million zillion Twihards tripped over themselves to see “New Moon” on opening night, that someone would think to film a reality show about what it’s really like to live in Forks, Washington. Today, producer Zig Gauthier is in Forks, holding casting sessions for just such a show. The show could follow students inside Forks High School, though (presumably) there won’t be any vampires or werewolves among the brood. Or it could focus on older Forks residents, as a rainy version of the “Real Housewives” franchise. I’m definitely voting for the former. There’s gotta be at least one girl in that high school who has assumed the name Bella, and every freaking school has an Edward. Hopefully, they’re dating. [MTV] Keep reading »

Introducing “Twilight” Manties Model Kellan Lutz

What does Marky Mark of The Funky Bunch have in common with Emmett from “Twilight“? Manties! Kellan Lutz will be slipping on the boxer-briefs Mark Wahlberg made famous for Calvin Klein in the ’90s. From what we’ve seen, Lutz is quite photogenic and his abs are poppin’, but can he fill the shoes underwear of the beefed-up rapper-turned-model-turned-actor? You be the judge when the campaign comes to a billboard near you soon. [NYMag] Keep reading »

How To Look Like A “Twilight” Star

OK, so I know I’m really late to the party (actually, I once insisted I wouldn’t even show up), but yesterday I found myself at the movie theater, gobbling popcorn, absolutely transfixed by a movie made for teenagers. Taylor Lautner’s insane abs and hokey Harlequin-esque romance moments aside, I couldn’t help but notice how great of a job “New Moon” makeup designer Norma Hill-Patton did, making Bella look fresh as a daisy and natural-looking and, alternatively, the vampires appear as gorgeous and other-worldly as possible. Apparently, creating the illusion of perfect skin is the vital starting point. “Vampires don’t perspire, don’t grow facial hair, don’t get lines and certainly don’t get blemishes, so all the actors required a lot of makeup on their faces for long periods of time,” Hill-Patton explained, via a press release for Dermalogica, the brand of skincare used on set. In the old days, pancake makeup would’ve done the trick. But this is the era of hi-def, people. Here’s how to steal some on-set looks for real life. Keep reading »

Adam Lambert Courts “Eclipse” Soundtrack

Adam Lambert has garnered heaps of attention lately, what with his on-stage gay kiss, the blurring out of said kiss by CBS’s “Early Show,” dis-invitation to “Good Morning America,” and subsequent media frenzy. If he gets his way, he’ll triangulate even more focus his way. In an interview with MTV, he explained that he’d really love to see an unused track from his new album find its way to “maybe Twilight.” The reason the song was discarded — “too campy, too theatrical.” The Twi-hards are gonna love that. Lambert’s frothy sexuality and “Twilight”‘s hot, girl-focused abstinence could be perfect together, though I’m not too sure the sparkly vampire set would agree. [MTV UK] Keep reading »
