The “Twilight” sequel is such a hot project that everyone wants to dance on its set, including Madonna. Ryan Seacrest told “E! News” that Madonna will be involved in the “Twilight” sequel, “New Moon,” in some capacity. Seacrest said Madonna will most likely appear in the film and provide music for the soundtrack. If the “New Moon” soundtrack is anything like the “Twilight” soundtrack, which featured songs by Paramore and Linkin Park, Madonna’s style of music will stick out like a sore thumb. Also, I can’t think of any role in “New Moon” that is appropriate for Madge. She could play one of the Volterra vampires, but then again, they’re supposed to be young, and we all know Madonna has seen more youthful, softer days. Maybe she’ll be a tourist ravaged by the Volterras in Italy? We could possibly be entertained by that scene. Anyway, I think this is a feeble attempt for Madonna to become relevant to a generation that knows little, and couldn’t care less, about the Material Girl. [OhNoTheyDidnt.com]
The minute my cousin and I realized we both read “Twilight”, we knew we had to make a date to see the movie…a very well planned date so we could get tickets before they sold out. I might be the only person on the planet that thought this, but I couldn’t really envision Robert Pattison as Edward Cullen. He just seemed too scrawny to me. But he proved me wrong! He looked so sexy on screen and had the perfect build to play Edward. I’m sure most of the girls in the theater experienced their first pitter pat down there when he was onscreen. But Pattison wasn’t the only eye candy to be had during “Twilight.” I liked Emmett Cullen’s (Kellan Lutz) hip hop, jock swagger. And Jacob Black’s (Taylor Lautner) boyish looks were dreamy.
Everyone and their momma is planning to see “Twilight” this weekend. I’m sure most of them have read the book, but in case there are a few people that haven’t, or if you need to refresh your memory, we’ve compiled a list of pertinent “Twilight” facts, thanks to Twilight Lexicon. Vampires are making another resurgence in pop culture. HBO’s True Blood premiered on Sunday and Twilight the movie will be in theaters November 21. Also, the Southern vampire novels by Charlaine Harris, which True Blood is based on, remain extremely popular. Unlike other vampire entertainment, True Blood is debunking some of the vampire myths and legends, in order to make its world believable. And along the way, it may create some new ones.
Vampires are back baby, in a little movie that’s got a whole lot of underground buzz called Twilight—check out the trailer above. Based on a series of young adult novels by Stephanie Meyer, the film is seriously all the kiddies are talking about on the internet it seems. So, because I like to be hip with the young crowd, I decided to do some research. For starters, Twilight is a love story between an average, beautiful heroine named Bella and a vampire named Edward Cullen (played by the hottie who was Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter). What’s awesome about Edward and his family is that they are totally rebellious and abstain from drinking human blood and drink animal blood instead—friends of PETA they are not. Anyway, it reminded me of my own youth, spent crushing on goth boys, and I decided to put together a list of the Hottest Vampires.
