Last night, a super pregnant Kate Hudson sat down with David Letterman to talk about her new movie “Something Borrowed,” her new engagement to Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy, and the fact that she’ll be giving birth for the second time in just a few weeks. “I don’t feel prepared. I can’t believe how fast it’s gone,” she said. “I might be one of those who is sitting in the hospital, staring, going ‘I don’t know what to name my child!’”

Lindsay Lohan Talks Abour Her Jail Sentence, Future Oscar On “The Tonight Show”

On Monday, after finding out that she’d been sentenced to 120 days in jail and 480 hours of community service, including a large chunk brandishing a broom at the Los Angeles County morgue, Lindsay Lohan rolled by “The Tonight Show” for an interview. The audience had been expecting Kristin Chenoweth, so when the much more scandaltastic LiLo appeared, they gave her a standing ovation. In the interview, which aired last night, Jay Leno asked her all about her recent woes. Lindsay said that her sentence was “shocking” and had “left me numb.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Calls Her Grandma A “C**t”

Gwyneth Paltrow apparently didn’t do any knitting with grandma. When she appeared on “Chelsea Lately” this week, she and Chelsea Handler talked about their respective German grandmas. Gwyneth apparently called her mom’s mom “Mutti” and not in a good way. “My grandmother was a real c**t,” she said. “She basically hated my guts. She tried to poison my mother against me, but it didn’t work because I have a great mother. She was just tough, just tough. You look back and you think she must not have been very happy and she must have had a lot of pain because she was mean as hell.” Wow, using the c-word on someone who’s dead? Harsh. Oprah Sets Up Miley Cyrus And Joan Jett

Oprah sure loves pairing ’80s rock stars with the pop tarts of today. On yesterday’s “Woman Who Rock” episode, in addition to teaming up Avril Lavigne and Pat Benatar, she also had Miley Cyrus join Joan Jett for a medley of “Bad Reputation,” “Cherry Bomb,” and my favorite karaoke song ever, “I Hate Myself For Loving You.” Joan still looks and sounds amazing and, well, at least it kept Miley off the pole for a little while.

The episode also brought together Sheryl Crow and Stevie Nicks, which almost fits the theme. Keep reading »

He and Sherri Shepherd have a special relationship since she plays his wife on “30 Rock.” While watching a clip of the sitcom where Tracy got to show off his revenge body, Sherri shared a little secret. “Every time he came out, he would stuff something in his pants,” she said. Courteney Cox appeared on David Letterman‘s couch last night, and the two chatted about her recent vacation to St. Barts. David took the opportunity to show some photos of Courteney strutting in a bikini. “You know when the paparazzi are there, so that’s real, but I was working it pretty hard,” said Courteney. “I sucked it in … My arms are stretched out. I don’t [normally] walk like that! It became a joke, like, alright let’s see how ‘Sports Illustrated’ we can get… I had a little nipple slip.” At which point, David whipped out a photo of Courteney’s wardrobe malfunction in the surf. “Wow, Dave, that’s not pixelated or anything!” Courteney responded. “I don’t know if we can show that,” replied Dave, and then did it anyway. Last week, Kirstie Alley and her partner Maksim took a spill during their routine on “Dancing With The Stars“—and got better comments from the judges than ever for standing back up and continuing. Then last night, while doing their waltz, Kirstie lost a shoe and had to take a moment on the floor to fix it. “I’m not doing a sitcom. I’m actually doing a dancing show! I’m tired of having to recover,” Kirstie said. “I would just like to do something right. I don’t feel like I’m jinxed, but I feel like I need to get my s**t together… First week, we were the people who danced really well. Kirstie Alley Stumbles On “Dancing With The Stars”

Last night was a cringe-worthy episode of “Dancing with the Stars.” The contestants had to dance out tales of their personal struggle. Petra Nemcova danced about surviving the tsunami in 2004. And Kirstie Alley splayed herself wide open, dancing to “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and dedicating her performance to her mom, who was hit and killed by a drunk driver in 1980, right before her acting career took off. So it made it even sadder when, a short moment into their performance, Kirstie dipped into her partner Maksim Chmerkovsky and they both tumbled to the ground after a slide. They got back up, but Maksim took a few seconds and winced pretty dramatically before the two started dancing again. Luckily, the judges were very forgiving. [TV Squad] Keep reading »

Kaley Cuoco of “The Big Bang Theory” apparently loves infomercials, and didn’t get why Ellen made fun of the Shake Weight. But the reason became clear to her as she demonstrated it on Ellen’s show. Her face got red as she said it was “good practice.” “This is so dumb,” she said. “I can’t believe I ordered this.” Then Ellen dared her, “Try to make it not look dirty.” Cute. “This brings back such memories,” said Kaley before getting embarrassed all over again. Last night, Jake Gyllenhaal stopped by “The Daily Show,” and while last week, Jake tried to pimp his mom, this time Jon Stewart tried to pimp him to a member of the audience—and Jake said he’d think about marrying her. But then things came back to Jake’s mom in an awkward way. Jon asks, “I don’t know if you’re single, if you’re dating, if you’re looking for love … Have you ever met a girl and just fallen in love at first sight—like just boom!—and then you knew you were gonna go out with her?”
