Jennifer Lopez Makes Like Marilyn Monroe On “Lopez Tonight”

Celebrities loooooove Marilyn Monroe. Lindsay Lohan, Gwen Stefani, Christina Aquilera, and Scarlet Johansson all channel her on a regular basis. And last night, Jennifer Lopez became the latest to make like the original blond bombshell when she slinked onto “Lopez Tonight” in a floor-length dress and blond wig to sing “Happy Birthday” to George Lopez, just like Marilyn did for John F. Kennedy on his 45th birthday. Sure, it’s cute when she says, “Calm down, birthday boy. Take a seat and let me do my thing.” But the Marilyn act is just getting so old. Next. Keep reading »

Ray J’s Mom Talks About His Sex Tape … On National TV

I can’t really think of anything more mortifying then having your mom discuss your sex tape on national television while you are sitting right next to her. Poor Ray J looks like he wants to crawl inside that couch and disappear while his mom, Sonja Norwood, and Wendy Williams have a convo about his infamous dirty vid with Kim Kardashian. Oh, and his dad and sister Brandy are there too, by the way. It’s like a bad dream. And just when you think the worst of it is over, his mom starts bragging about how he never posed for Playgirl or tried to launch an erotic career like Kim did after the sex tape leaked. Even Brandy let out a groan after that one. Best part? Wendy ends the most uncomfortable moment ever by telling Ray J, “For the record, it was nice watching [your sex tape],” and then high-fiving him. I’m sure I don’t need to point out how many shades of wrong that is. [NY Post] Keep reading »

The Fabulous Life Of J. Crew Creative Director Jenna Lyons

On yesterday’s show, Oprah learned about an assortment of dream jobs, including Jenna Lyon‘s position as J. Crew’s creative director. Not only does Jenna have an amazing career, but everything about her life is seemingly perfect, too. She calls a gorgeous Brooklyn townhouse home (bedroom-sized closet, of course), has a handsome husband and a cute kid, gets all the J. Crew clothes she wants, and somehow manages to get home by 6:30 p.m. every evening. Watch a day in her life above, but be prepared to feel some serious pangs of jealousy. [Oprah] Keep reading »

Mary J. Blige Gets Psychedelic On “Idol Gives Back”

In case you got bored and started fast-forwarding through last night’s “Idol Gives Back” bonanza (it was kind of a snoozefest), you might have missed the best moment of the pseudo-telethon—Mary J. Blige covering “Stairway to Heaven” by Led Zeppelin. That’s what I love most about Mary, she can sing anything, even psychedelic rock. Randy Jackson got up there and jammed with her band and her lady guitarist shredded that famous solo. Oh, and then Tim Urban got eliminated and no one cared. Keep reading »

Jenna Bush And Bill Clinton Talk Wedding Planning

I wasn’t the biggest fan of “The Today Show” handing Jenna Bush the coveted role of correspondent. But yesterday, she did an interview that was kind of cute … with Bill Clinton. “I’m sure this is a rarity, a Bush interviewing a Clinton,” she said. “They joke that you’re my grandfather’s stepson because he talks about you more than anyone else in the family.” The two talked Haiti and, of course, wedding planning since Chelsea is getting hitched soon. “The only part of the planning I do is pay the bills,” said Bill. “But I’m participating. Chelsea’s been good enough to include me in the decisions they’re making … I admire my prospective son-in-law. I’m happy about that, but that doesn’t mean it will be easy. I just hope I can keep it together when I walk her down the aisle.” Aww, Bill Clinton. Kinda sleazy dude; adorable, proud papa. [MSNBC] Keep reading »

Kate Gosselin Does The Swim On “Dancing With The Stars”

Sorry folks, but I am officially obsessed with watching Kate Gosselin‘s sad “Dancing with the Stars” routines. Last night, she and partner Tony fox trotted to “Don’t You Forget About Me” from “The Breakfast Club.” And it was … well, let’s just say that a blow-up doll would have brought more energy to it. I kind of love Carrie Ann’s comment that the dance was like “the Charlie Brown teacher’s. It’s like wah wah wah wah wah.” Please let her get voted off soon. For her own sake. Keep reading »
