“The Tyra Show” Really Is Full Of Crap

Just when you thought that Tyra Banks couldn’t be any more full of s**t, she is. America’s Next Top Egomaniac will embarrass herself and the rest of the country by giving some poor woman a colonic on tomorrow’s episode. Tyra! Nooo! How much do you want to bet that this will somehow become a forum for Tyra to talk about how good-looking her anal cavity is? The worst part of this stunt is that the show is calling this the “first-ever televised colonic.” Well, shut your butt Tyra, because Katie Couric has been there and done that. She showed the entire world her pretty little colon on the “Today” show in 2002. And it wasn’t just because she wanted footage of her “smeyesing” a**hole—she wanted to raise awareness about colon cancer. See the clip of Katie’s colonoscopy after the jump. Tyra … we fart on you. Should Women Be Allowed To Serve On Submarines With Men?

Today on “The View,” the women discussed how the Navy is considering letting women serve on submarines for the first time. Whoopi, Sherri, Joy, and guest co-host Kara DioGuardi got into a heated debate about whether they’d be concerned about a significant other living on a submarine for 90 days in veryclose quarters with members of the opposite sex (lots of brushing up against one another as people pass in the narrow hallways). Is it a question of trust, or does it go beyond that? Keep reading »

Man Goes Through Simulated Childbirth To See If He Can Handle The Pain

We’ve all heard the old women-versus-men pain threshold debate. It almost always goes the same way. A man in the middle of a crowded bar raucously boasts that he can withstand more pain than a woman. Any woman! Then, some gal in his vicinity gently puts down her gin and tonic, peers over her glasses and says, “We go through childbirth.” Finally, an Australian TV show host wants to settle this thing once and for all. With the help of a few lovely ladies, he hooked himself up to a machine that simulates contractions. The nurses increased the duration and intensity of the contractions until … surprise! He couldn’t handle it. After only three hours he called it quits. The show ends with the dude saying, “We have nothing, women win. Men don’t.” That’s right, boys! Keep reading »

“A Woman’s Nation” Addresses Our Role In Society And The Workplace

Starting Sunday on “Meet the Press,” Maria Shriver will serve as guest editor for the week-long airing of the special “A Woman’s Nation.” Women now make up nearly half of the U.S. work force, and the roles men and women have have changed as we all try to balance family and work. Shriver, with the Center for American Progress, conducted research on women and the economy, and their report will be released Oct. 16, and policy recommendations for “ways society can better support the new American worker and the new American family” will be addressed on the NBC special. Kelly Osbourne Is Cuter And More Confident Than Ever On “Dancing With The Stars”

Kelly Osbourne has majorly grown on us since her days as a sort of bratty kid on “The Osbournes.” Now that she’s on “Dancing with the Stars,” we’re getting to see a side to Kelly we never knew existed! Last night, she admitted to loving musicals and being disappointed that she didn’t get to play the lead in “Chicago” on stage because she “couldn’t dance.” Watch the clip above to hear how “DWTS” has done wonders for Kelly’s confidence, then watch her and partner Louis Van Amstel do the Charleston — and prove the people who said she couldn’t dance wrong — after the jump. Shauvon Busts Breast Implant On “Real World/Road Rules Challenge” And Scars Us All For Life

Be afraid … be very afraid. Just in time for Halloween, the scariest thing any woman can imagine has happened. On MTV’s “The Real World/Road Rules Challenge,” contestant Shauvon busted her breast implant after cannon balling into a lake. Aaaarrrrggghhhhhh! I’ll pretend like the splash heard ‘round the world was not an awful idea in the first place, because the real takeaway from this moment is that an implant can actually rupture. Shauvon was rushed to the ER where she discovered she had nerve, muscle, and tissue damage. I’m thinking no more challenges for Shauvon. Worse? The other contestants think she is exaggerating the pain or making up some cockamamie story. My real boobs are in pain just thinking about it! If you ever needed a reason to forego those implants you’ve been dreaming of, check out the clip above. [BuzzFeed] Keep reading »

Larry David’s Strange “Hannah Montana” Cameo

Here’s the randomest cameo ever: Larry David showed up on “Hannah Montana” and made the show, like, a zillion times better. Unlike on “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” he actually doesn’t look like the most ridiculous person in the room. That award goes to Hannah’s pink-haired friend who looks like a Lady Gaga impersonator. Watch the clip for Larry, though. Keep reading »

Kate Gosselin Plays Mama To The Paparazzi

Kate Gosselin apparently thinks the whole world is her spawn. Well, not really, but she pretended she does on Jay Leno’s “JMZ” last night. The infamous mommy scolded three photogs who were taking pictures of her while she was loading groceries into her car. She made them stop, saying, “Hey, what did Mommy say? I asked you to stop taking pictures.” One paparazzo got a time-out and another was forced into a car seat and given a stuffed animal. The vid’s funny, but we knew it was fake as soon as we saw that Kate only bought three bags of groceries. Dude, she has eight kids! Keep reading »

Whoopi Goldberg: “The Reason Black Women Want Straight Hair Is Because It’s Manageable”

Today on “The View,” the ladies discussed “Good Hair,” a documentary by Chris Rock. Whoopi Goldberg made the startling revelation that black women don’t straighten their hair because they want to be white, but because they want manageable hair. “It’s less about the larger culture and more about ‘I don’t want to fuss with my hair,” she said. But that’s only half the story. Nowadays, we realize that beauty can come in different forms, but we can’t ignore the beauty ideals that are presented to us on a daily basis in magazines, TV, and the web. Silky, non-coarse hair is the standard. Whoopi alludes to this but ultimately skirts over it when she says that in beauty school she was taught to do everyone’s hair but black people’s. Is It Fair For Mya To Compete On “Dancing With The Stars”?

Mya Harrison earned 27 points for her rumba dance on last night’s episode of “Dancing with the Stars.” The judges gushed on and on about her great performance, which I have to say was very sexy and entertaining. But ever since Stacy Keibler competed on “DWTS” in season two I’ve had the same question: Is it fair for trained dancers to compete against Average Joe celebrities? Keep reading »
