The Boob Tube: Hot Weekend TV For December 6-7th 2008

I’m really excited about all the classic movies coming on Turner Classic Movies on Sunday. It’s been ages since I watched “Little Women.” The Sci-Fi channel is re-airing “Tin Man” on Sunday, in case you missed it last year. Zooey Deschanel plays Dorothy in this made-for-TV adaptation of “The Wizard of Oz.” Also, I’m excited about “70′s Fever” on the History channel because I swear I was born in the wrong time. Studio 54, here I come. Oh, but hold the cocaine. Keep reading »

The Boob Tube: What’s On TV This Thanksgiving Day 2008 And Beyond

Thanksgiving Day isn’t just for eating turkey. You can also watch some of the best TV of the year because all those people that aren’t cooking need something to watch besides football. All three “Godfather” movies will air on Thursday, but other classic movies will also be on the tube. Friday is a great day for marathon watching, and if you can’t find anything new to watch on Saturday, I suggest you channel surf. And don’t forget, Amelia, will liveblog “Britney Spears: For the Record” on Sunday at 10 pm. Keep reading »

The Boob Tube: Hot Weekend TV For November 22nd-23rd 2008

The best thing on TV this weekend is our very own Amelia, who will dish on the “15 Infamous Child Star Mugshots” on E!. As Amelia puts it, “Tracey Gold gets owned.” E! will re-air this special on Saturday and Sunday; see the schedule after the jump. Also don’t forget Amelia will liveblog the “True Blood” season finale on Sunday at 9 pm. What am I going to do without my Bill? Keep reading »

The Boob Tube: Hot Weekend TV For November 8-9th 2008

There are two marathons for “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” on this weekend, so there is no excuse for you not to be in the know about the drama and conspicuous consumption. But if McMansions, just-for-the-hell-of-it shopping sprees and gossip aren’t your shtick, then there’s plenty of other stuff to watch. And guess what? All of it isn’t mindless TV. Oh, and don’t forget — Amelia will be liveblogging “True Blood” again on Sunday at 9pm EST! Keep reading »

The Boob Tube: Hot Weekend TV For September 27-28th 2008

Saturday is definitely the day to watch some of your favorite movies, like The Godfather and Purple Rain, but you can also catch up on the first season of “Dirty Sexy Money,” since the second season starts on October 1. You can also catch a replay of the “Heroes” season premiere on Saturday night. And remember, ABC’s fall shows premiere on Sunday as well as “Dexter” and “Californication” on Showtime. Sweet mother of god, there is some good stuff on TV this weekend. So much for outdoor activities. [TV Guide] Keep reading »
