I was ogling a whole mess of photos of “True Blood”‘s Joe Manganiello on the beach, trying to decide which one I was going to post, when I realized, I don’t have to post just one. So here are eight. It was hard to even narrow it down to these. Sometimes my job is very difficult. [Photos: INFDaily] Keep reading »
Last night’s premiere of “True Blood” featured a little nod to another HBO show, “Game of Thrones.” Or that’s what I like to think this scene featuring vampire Eric Northam fucking his sister is supposed to be. Shit ain’t sexy anymore unless there’s a dose of incest, amiright? Warning: the clip above is NSFW, so watch it over and over and over again when no one is around, ‘kay?
I am so depressed that “Game of Thrones”‘ second season has come to a close, and “Mad Men”‘s finale airs this weekend. Thankfully, “True Blood” starts up again on HBO this Sunday and Entertainment Weekly is honoring the show with 11 bloody covers featuring the cast. Even Pam gets one! [Entertainment Weekly]
Costars in life and on the small screen, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer, rocked the red carpet at the “True Blood” Season 5 premiere in Hollywood, Calif. on Wednesday (May 30). An expectant Paquin, 29, was simply radiant in a Rachel Comey dress, paired with Casadei peep-toes, a Christian Louboutin clutch and Stephen Webster jewels.
“It’s always amazing,” Moyer, 42, who has two children from previous relationships, told Zap2it at last night’s event. “I love my kids so much. And I think that the fact that Anna is pregnant just adds more crazy to the bundle of fun.” Read more…
“Well, we don’t have as many werepanthers on SVU, [but] I smack around [Alexander] Skaarsgard and [Bill] Moyer. I f*ck someone else up, and I have a girlfriend, so that’s fun. It’s been very freeing, except for the fact that I get off the show where I had to wear a coat and tie every day and they put me in a suit and tie every day.”
–Total hottie and fave “Law & Order: SVU” detective Christopher Meloni on his new role on “True Blood.” Smacking around Alexander Skaarsgard and Bill Moyer? A Sars, Mel, Moy sandwich? Now that’s something we’ve gotta see! [New York]
Can I just say that, for the record, I think it was kind of tacky of HBO to air the season finale of “True Blood” on 9/11? I’m not trying to say that yesterday should have been devoid of entertainment, but after an emotional day of watching the memorial service and television docs that recalled the violence of 2001, the last thing I was in the mood for was gore. Just sayin’—could HBO not have waited until next week to air the finale? Or at least started the season a week earlier? Feels like such a strange decision.
That said, last night’s episode was one of the best in a long time. After the jump, the good, bad, and WTF moments. Keep reading »
