Dear Sarah Palin: You Don’t Have To Be PETA To Think Standing On A Dog Is Messed Up

Last week, Sarah Palin posted a picture of her darling son Trig standing on Jill Hadassah, the family dog, for the purpose of doing dishes. This was quite a moment for the Mama Grizzly, who could not have been more proud of her son for stepping on a living creature in order to get what he wants.

Normal humans, however, were pretty sketched out. Because you know, most people, upon seeing a child step on a dog would say, “Hey, kid! Get off of the dog! You could hurt her!” instead of taking a picture of the “triumphant” moment. I mean, let’s face it, it’s not that far from seeing your kid setting ants on fire with a magnifying glass and gushing about how curious he is about the world.

Palin responded to criticism by posting a letter on her Facebook and addressing it to PETA. Keep reading »

Sarah Palin Proud To See Her Son Trig Stepping On The Family Dog

Well, this has to be a metaphor for something, doesn’t it?

Earlier today, Sarah Palin caused a bit of a kerfuffle on her Facebook page by posting a picture of her son Trig standing on the family dog … like it was a good thing. Seriously. This is what she wrote for the caption:

Happy New Year! May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward. Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for “up!”, found me and a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone.

“Family Guy” Has Made Me Reconsider The Word “Retarded”

I am not a “Family Guy” fan. Seth MacFarlane’s brand of offend-everybody, aren’t-I-clever? humor is not for me. Bill Maher, the host of “Real Time With Bill Maher,” is not my cup of tea either. But I was quite intrigued by both of them after watching a clip of Seth MacFarlane on “Real Time” this weekend discussing Sarah Palin’s outrage of the portrayal of a character with Down syndrome in his show. As you’ve probably heard right now, on a recent episode of “Family Guy,” Chris took Ellen, a girl with Down syndrome, on a date and asked her what her parents did for a living. Ellen, who was played by an actress who actually has Down syndrome in real life named Andrea Friedman, Keep reading »

Andrea Friedman, “Family Guy” Down Syndrome Actress, Issues The Palins A Kick In The Pants

Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and her daughter, Bristol Palin, were in the headlines again this week, railing against Sunday’s episode of “Family Guy” featuring a character with special needs. In the episode “Extra Large Medium,” the elder son, Chris, goes out on a date with Ellen, a mentally handicapped woman who tells him, “My dad’s an accountant and my mom’s the former governor of Alaska” — an obvious reference to Palin’s son, Trig, who has Down syndrome. The Palins, of course, interpreted it as such; both Bristol and Sarah took to the ex-governor’s Facebook page, where Bristol wrote, “If the writers of a particularly pathetic cartoon show thought they were being clever in mocking my brother and my family yesterday, they failed. All they proved is that they’re heartless jerks.” Boom boom pow!

And yet … Andrea Friedman, the 39-year-old actress with Down syndrome who read the voiceover for Ellen on the “Family Guy” episode in question, said peeps needs to chill. In an interview yesterday with The New York Times, Friedman spoke out and said, “It’s not really an insult. I was doing my role, I’m an actor. … I was laughing at it.” She added, “[I turned on the TV and] I saw Sarah Palin with her son Trig. I’m like, ‘I’m not Trig. This is my life.’ I was making fun of Sarah Palin, but not her son.” Keep reading »

Levi Johnston Still Talkin’ Smack About Sarah Palin On “The Early Show”

Attention Levi Johnston: show us your wang in Playgirl or go back to your kid in Wasilla. We’re tired of you complaining publicly about Sarah Palin, especially since you don’t have any new dirt! Keep reading »

Sarah Palin: Who Should Star In Her TV Biopic

The Governor of Alaska and Republican VP hopeful, Sarah Palin, has more drama in her life than the new 90210. So before Lifetime makes her biopic, we decided to cast this lady’s dramatic life story in the hopes that someday they’ll finally script her personal plight that we’ve all come to know TMI about. So who would star in this juicy little made-for-TV movie? Here’s how we at The Frisky would do it! Now we just have to wait for it to be produced and run in perpetuity next to infomercials for face creams and slicer/dicers…..

Sarah Palin: NRA-supporter Sarah Michelle Gellar is a sharp shooter who grew up around guns….although that’s sorta scary when you realize she was raised in New York City. Needless to say, Gellar’s gotta be a tough broad who is made for TV and now TV movies. Even though SMG is 13 years Palin’s junior, you know they always cast adult women way younger — that’s the Hollywood magic. Plus, Buffy’s gone brunette and if you’d slip a pair of wire frame glasses on her, they’d look like sisters.
