Juror #3 In The Casey Anthony Trial Said The Verdict Made Her “Sick”

“I toggled on manslaughter and not guilty. It doesn’t feel good. It was a horrible decision to have to make. I did not say she was innocent. I just said there was not enough evidence. If you cannot prove what the crime was, you cannot determine what the punishment should be … Everyone wonders why we didn’t speak to the media right away. It was because we were sick to our stomach to get that verdict. We were crying, and not just the women. It was emotional and we weren’t ready. We wanted to do it with integrity and not contribute to the sensationalism of the trial.”

A Casey Anthony Porn? NO!

Less than 24 hours after being acquitted of murder, Casey Anthony already has a job offer. While the rest of the world was outraged by the verdict, Vivid Entertainment’s CEO, Steve Hirsch, saw it as an opportunity. According to TMZ, Hirsch has reached out to Anthony about starring in a porno. “Whether you agree with the verdict or not, Casey will want to move forward with her life and has a right to make a living. It’s not going to be easy for her and we believe we can help her make the transition into a new life,” he said. “We’ve all seen the pictures of her partying and having a good time with friends where she definitely looks hot.”

Ugh. I can’t even start to enumerate the levels of wrong here. Keep reading »

George Clooney Surprised To Be A Witness In The Berlusconi Trial

“It seems odd since I’ve only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur.”

George Clooney reacts to being called as a witness for the prosecution in the case against Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, who is accused of hiring prostitutes, having sex with a 17-year-old and then covering the scandal up. Apparently, George and Elisabetta Canalis once attended a party Berlusconi threw, hence their presence on the witness list. Or the prosecutors are just fans who want autographs? Fashion Designer Anand Jon Alexander’s Legal Troubles Get Even Messier

At the end of last year, fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander, who was featured on “America’s Next Top Model” and has worked with celebs like Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige, was convicted of raping seven aspiring models between the ages of 14 and 21. Now, the case has gotten even more messed up. Last week, the LA district attorney’s office released a transcript of a phone conversation between a juror who sat on Alexander’s trial and Alexander’s sister Sanjana. In it, the juror flirted with Sanjana, saying he thought she was sexy and wanted to see her after the trial. She had called him after he slipped her his number a couple times during the trial and said she did so against orders from the judge because she didn’t want to anger the juror. In the taped phone conversation, Sanjana didn’t say much beyond “thank you” to the juror’s advances. Keep reading »

R. Kelly Gets Off 14 Times

You don’t have to throw out your Space Jam soundtrack! After six years, two stalled trials due to medical emergencies, and an impossible hunt for jurors who have never watched MTV, R. Kelly was amazingly acquitted of 14 counts of child pornography. The Chicago courtroom hummed with the rhythm of Robert Kelly’s Church-like chants of “Thank you, Jesus!” as he was declared innocent of raping his goddaughter. The singer/songwriter, who has beat more than just a bad rap, hugged his four lawyers. The defense dream team found a big hole in the prosecution’s case: no mole. R. Kelly has one that’s about a square inch on his back. In the sex tape, no mole appeared to be visible. R&B’s R. Kelly is free — his only crime? Creating Trapped in A Closet. But alas Hip Hoperas aren’t punishable by law, or Beyoncé would have already been in the clink for Carmen. [CNN] Keep reading »
