The lawyer for a Massachusetts man facing charges of impersonating a police officer for driving around a Maserati painted to resemble a police cruiser calls the case against his client “silly.” Attorney Russell Matson tells The Patriot Ledger his client “never pretended to be a cop,” and even told police in advance he was going to decorate his car to look like the character Barricade from a “Transformers” movie. I saw “Transformers: Dark of the Moon” over the weekend. In 3-D. And I am so not into action movies. Now to be fair, my boyfriend had already bought tickets to “Horrible Bosses” for us, but I found myself wanting to please him since I knew he would much rather watch the Decepticons than Colin Farrell. I called him and suggested we see “Transformers” instead. Well, he jumped on it, returned the original tickets and immediately reserved our seats. “Babe, it’s going to sell out. We have to get there early!” he said, so excited.
Oh, the things we do for love. And lust. And infatuation. (And perhaps desperation, too). Have you ever found yourself doing things you said you would never do for a boyfriend, or a guy you’re dating, or even just a guy you want to date? I posed this question to the rest of The Frisky staff. So, take a moment and stop folding skidmark-stained undies and check out these 22 things we thought we would never do for a man—until we did. Apparently, nobody ever told “Transformers” star Shia LaBeouf (whose name I continue to never know how to spell) that it was ungentlemanly to kiss and tell, because dude straight up told the world that he hooked up with costar Megan Fox while they were filming the movie. In a new interview with Details, LaBeouf says it’s understandable because, “Look, you’re on the set for six months, with someone who’s rooting to be attracted to you, and you’re rooting to be attracted to them.” He goes on to say that “the time I spent with Megan was our own thing, and I think you can see the chemistry onscreen.” Yes, all that chemistry in the MIchael Bay explosion-a-thon “Transformers.”
And then there’s this, from the Details interview… Keep reading »
Megan Fox is fighting back at rumors that she got booted from the third installment of “Transfromers.” Recently, Variety reported that director Michael Bay was replacing Fox, who played Shia LaBeouf’s lover in the first two installments, in order to take the film in a different direction. (Like, perhaps, a good one?) But, according to the actress, that is not the case. “Megan Fox will not be starring in ‘Transformers 3,’” her rep said. “It was her decision not to return. She wishes the franchise the best.” So who dumped who? It’s kind of like a chicken or egg scenario. But rumor has it that Gemma Arterton of “Prince of Persia” has already been talking to Bay about the role. Others rumored to be in the running are Bar Refaeli, Brooklyn Decker, or Miranda Kerr. Guess Megan’s loose lips finally sunk ships. [People]

The Grecian gown is a Hollywood starlet staple because it just oozes sex appeal and sophistication. But not when Megan Fox pairs it with stripper platform shoes and a cheap-looking belt. She would have looked stunning if she had nixed the belt and put on strappy metallic heels. [Westwood, CA, 6/22/09] Keep reading »
Megan Fox and Shia LaBeouf seem to like each other an awful lot. “He probably is my favorite person in the entire world,” Megan told People. And Shia replied, “We’re attracted to each other, and I think you can see that in our scenes together. It’s very real and tangible.” Holy smokes! Add in the fact that Megan’s car was apparently spotted at Shia’s house early in the morning last week, and lots of people are saying these two are a couple. [People] We wonder what Megan’s boyfriend, 90210er Brian Austin Green thinks about this “very real” chemistry?
Yeah, we aren’t buying it. “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” opens on June 24th and this has publicity stunt written all over it. With all the ridiculous things that come out of Shia and Megan’s mouths, we’re beginning to think that oversharing in general is the “Transformers” marketing strategy. After the jump, the most looney tunes quotes from both these stars.
