You knew it was only a matter of time before Barbie would step into the modern era and begin exploring the world of body modification. Though she’s not exactly a traditional Mattel release, the new tatted up Tokidoki Barbie sports a chest and neck full of tiny, colorful tats, sexy leopard print leggings and pink hair. She’s also got her very own Tokidoki pet — a cactus named Bastardino — if that’s your thing. You won’t find her at the local Toys ‘R Us, but you can grab one for a cool $50 off of the Barbie Collector site starting next week. [$50, Barbie Collector]

Whether you’re bored at work, a Sephora junkie, or have just always been curious how you’d look covered in anime face tattoos, this is the contest for you. Upload a picture of yourself (or a friend, celebrity, etc.) to Sephora’s website, cover said picture with Tokidoki’s signature illustrations, and hope other users see the genius in your creation and vote it up to help you win a $500 Sephora gift card. Karl Lagerfeld Is Watching His Figurine

Seems like Karl Lagerfeld has been lightening up recently which is nice, because, really dude, why so serious? Now the K-man’s image is getting a makeover in the form of a 10-inch collectible. Designed by Tokidoki, Mini Karl comes all Manga‘d-out, but still retains his signature style: black suit, tie, sunglasses, fingerless gloves. (Although, that stance actually looks Schwarzenegger-esque, no?)

Naturally, Karl wouldn’t want just anyone getting their hands on the doll. The limited edition collection contains just 1,000 models, which will be sold at Colette in Paris, and in the New York and L.A. Tokidoki stores.

Of course, all Mini Karl might do is make real Karl’s ego bigger. [WWD]
