Olivier Theyskens, the long-haired fellow who used to be head designer at Nina Ricci, is designing a capsule collection for Theory. Theyskens has a habit of designing some rather gorgeous clothes, so we’re thrilled at the prospect of seeing some of his things at a more reasonable price point. That said, the Theyskens/Theory connection remains a bit confusing; why is a man best known for his elaborately ruffled and sculpted creations working with a brand generally associated with simple work wear?
