This is Corey. Corey has an unrealistic idea of how much things cost, which puts him at a serious disadvantage playing “The Price Is Right.” When the game show contestants were asked to estimate the price of a beautiful, new hammock, Corey’s bid was so outrageous that a fellow competitor turned around and, out of turn, yelled at him. Even Drew Carey laughed in his face. Based on Corey’s bid, I’ve come to the conclusion that a) He has never bought any kind of item in his lifetime, b) He is very, very bad at math, or c) He really values his relaxation. Watch the video to see how much poor Corey thinks hammocks cost these days.
Warning: The man recording this catastrophe was so dumbfounded back that he drops an F-bomb at the end of the video.
I’ve always wanted to go on “The Price Is Right” — to play Plinko, ideally — so I understand Aliaya’s enthusiasm at winning a spot on stage and having the chance to win up to $10,000. If I had a wig to snatch off, I would snatch it off too! So, is Aliaya’s excitement short-lived or does she go home with some money in her pocket? You’ll have to watch to find out! [Jezebel]
Josh Androsky is a skateboarding rabbi who decided to take some mushrooms and get a little bit wasted before attending a taping of long-running game show “The Price is Right.” Miraculously, Josh was plucked out of the audience and chosen as a contestant, despite the fact that, in his words, he “lied to Drew Carey’s melting face.” Weirdly, Josh seems like the least effed up of all the “Price Is Right” contestants. It’s come to our attention that methed up “Breaking Bad” hottie Jesse Pinkman has a scandalous back story. Jessie — real name Aaron Paul — admitted to Jay Leno that he once appeared on “The Price Is Right.” He made it all the way to the Showcase Showdown, too, but overbid and lost. Paul and his friends were regulars on the show, and had tons of tips and tricks for how to actually get called up as a contestant. Situate yourself in the middle of the audience, for instance, because people are hardly ever picked from the front rows. While Paul didn’t win big, his friend was called for the following show and won his Showcase. He treated Paul to a trip to New Orleans. [via HyperVocal]
We hoped that the sexual harassment accusations would be over when Bob Barker retired as the host of “The Price Is Right.” All we wanted was to enjoy a good round of Plinko without worrying who may be “plinking” backstage. But unfortunately, the accusations are continuing into the Drew Carey era. Another one of the show’s “beauties” has filed a lawsuit, this time against two of the game show’s producers. Keep reading »
No more dinette sets or speedboats for TV game show “The Price is Right.” Now they’re featuring lots of American Apparel
clothing for bidding games. How much would you bid on the selection? (We were pretty surprised to see how far-off our imaginary guess was.) Anyhow, we don’t know which to lament more—the downfall of American Apparel or of “The Price is Right.” We miss the days of Bob and Winnebago trailers. [YouTube
