Converse Helps “The Hills” Live On

Admittedly, “The Hills” hasn’t been the same since Lauren Conrad left, but die-hard fans are going to have to find a new way to fulfill their need for fake drama and blank stares now that the show is finally coming to an end. For those who just can’t live without Kristin, Lo, Stephanie, and Audrina in their lives, Converse is here to help. The shoe brand decorated a pair of their sneaks with snaps of the stars, so now you can walk around and show off your love for the girls, while undoubtedly enduring a few judging looks from passersbys. If that doesn’t satiate your “Hills” love, don’t get too depressed just yet. There are rumors that Stephanie Pratt is thinking of moving to New York to join the cast of “The City” — which hasn’t been canceled? — in order to keep up with her reality show career and continue with her crocodile tear action. Watch out, Manhattan. [Crushable] Keep reading »

All Hail King Spencer Pratt!

Bow down before Spencer Pratt, women! Last year, the former star of “The Hills,” all-around nutcase, and crystal devotee declared he would be legally adding “King” to his name, and his internet home at KingSpencer.com (I felt slightly ill just writing that) certainly suggests the megalomaniac is reaching new heights in his megalomania. The King of Absurdistan has tweeted that he’s going to start his own “PAP” (read: paparazzi) agency: “anyone tweet me any celebrity sitings I’m starting my own PAP agency! I will pay for good tips if they get me the photo hahaha.” Ah, I love a literate man. But it wasn’t until this past weekend (OK, it was a slow weekend, what can I say?) that I actually visited KingSpencer.com! Which features this awesome image of King Spencer. I don’t know why they didn’t Photoshop the crown right on his head. I hope it launches soon. Keep reading »

Got Milk, Lauren Conrad?

Former queen bee of “The Hills,” Lauren Conrad, poses with fake milk on her upper lip for the latest iteration of the “got milk?” ad campaign. You’re going to have to make up your own dirty jokes on this one, kids. Keep reading »

How Real Is “The Hills”? Stephanie Pratt And Audrina Patridge Weigh In

Both Stephanie Pratt and Audrina Patridge — friends and fellow cast members on MTV’s “The Hills” — seem to have different opinions on whether producers meddle in the cast’s personal affairs. We’ve learned exclusively from our friends at Runway magazine that Pratt told the glossy’s new issue (on stands now) that her introduction to the show as Lauren Conrad‘s “enemy” (bolstered by her allegiance to her now-estranged brother Spencer) was completely real and that being assigned to the same computer class was not orchestrated by producers. “It was so not staged,” she told the magazine of being assigned a seat next to Conrad in class, after their big fight at a nightclub. “Seriously the most gigantic coincidence ever!” Hmm, we’d call it dumb luck, considering the relationship between Pratt and Conrad developed to the point where Pratt is now a full-time cast member on the show. Would You Take Advice From Lo Bosworth?

We know her as the most level-headed, calm, relatively down-to-earth member of “The Hills,” and now Lo Bosworth is cashing in on her reality TV role to launch her very own advice and lifestyle website! C’mon, are you that shocked? After all, “The Hills” is ending, so each cast member needs to find a way to stay in the limelight. Lo’s M.O. is to join a growing group of celebs who’ve created their own media “empires,” like Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP and Teri Hatcher’s Get Hatched. Aptly named The LoDown, the site will provide a venue for Lo to continue to dish out her sage advice to teenagers and 20-somethings who avidly watch the scripted reality TV show. Given the fact that she’s the only member of “The Hills” who keeps her personal life and “professional” life somewhat separate, I have to admit that I might actually read her advice. Plus, the site’s name is pretty catchy. [Racked] Keep reading »

Is Spencer Pratt Smoking Some Crystals Too?

Look, I watch “The Hills.” I’m not ashamed, but I’m not proud either. I’m especially not proud now that the Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt subplot has taken a decidedly new agey and potentially abusive turn. Spencer is definitely a complete attention whore — the only one who could compete with him is his wife — and he’s always given me the skeeves. But on last night’s episode — and the preview for next week — it’s clear that Spencer is either losing his mind and treading into potentially scary and abusive territory or just pretending to for the show. “The Hills,” Now Even More Childish!

Dang, am I getting older or are the kids on MTV getting younger? Kidding! In this vid, Audrina, LC, Heidi, Spencer, Justin Bobby, Brody, they’re all there, as grammar school shorties, and even more amazing — they’re able to talk to each other, for the first time! While I find the actual show friggin’ unwatchable, a bunch of real babies (not adult ones) totes know how to step up the drama, and throw a birthday party! [The Daily What] Keep reading »

What’s Jeremy Sisto Doing On “The Hills”?

One of the things that must suck about living in L.A. is not knowing when and where “The Hills” is filming. Take for instance “Law & Order” star Jeremy Sisto, who was probably having a pleasant lunch when Kristin Cavallari walked up with her production crew. That can really spoil a real actor’s appetite! [L.A., 4/22/10] Keep reading »

“The Hills” Stars Say No Way Adam DiVello Groped Heidi Montag

Just as Eva Longoria, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross, and Felicity Huffman issued a joint statement saying that “Desperate Housewives” producer Marc Cherry had never been anything but professional to them and has only fostered a positive working environment, the cast of “The Hills” has found themselves in a similar situation. On Tuesday, Life & Style reported that Heidi Montag was planning to sue the creator of “The Hills,” Adam DiVello, over an incident that took place at a photo shoot last month. A source told the magazine, “Adam came up to her from behind and grabbed her with one hand on her stomach and one hand directly on her butt cheek. Heidi had six bodyguards with her. They took his hand off her and moved him away from the situation. …Heidi started bringing security to the set because she felt Adam was getting a little creepy. He was very touchy-feely and she insisted he wouldn’t stop asking her to strip down to a bikini for scenes. Adam wasn’t on set much for six seasons until Heidi got her new boobs. And now he shows up everywhere.”

MTV says they have conducted an investigation over the incident and that “the allegations made against Adam DiVello are completely false and without merit.” Keep reading »
