“Bachelor Pad”: Who’s Doing What With Whom In Episode 3

Last night’s episode of “Bachelor Pad” should have been called “The One Where They Try and Give Each Other Mono.” See, this week’s big competition was a kissing contest — every Bach and Bachelorette had a turn at being blindfolded, as the opposite sex took turns kissing them with as much gusto and tongue as they could muster. Then the blindfolded one would vote on which person was the best kisser and so on. Basically, ABC is not even trying to stand in the way of these dorks sharing bodily fluids. 10 Peeps Who Could Be The Next “Bachelor” Now That Chris Lambton Has Said No

The word on the street is that Chris Lambton, the rainbow-watching dude who Ali ditched in favor of Roberto on “The Bachelorette,” has turned down ABC’s offer to be the next “Bachelor.” According to multiple sources, Chris just wants to get back to “normal life.” Which doesn’t surprise us hugely. After all, he said after the “Bachelorette” finale, “It would be an amazing opportunity and a great way to find a wife, but I just don’t know if I want to give out more of my personal story.”

Still, ABC is not giving up. “All of our best Bachelors have been hesitant at first,” a source says. “The producers really want Chris to be the guy. They’re hoping they can convince him … This definitely isn’t dead yet.” [People, E! Online] Keep reading »

DeAnna Pappas And Other Broken-Hearted “Bachelor” Contestants Who Found Love

Back in 2007, “Bachelor” viewers were shocked when lame-oid Brad Womack decided not to choose either Jenni Croft or DeAnna Pappas in the final episode. Uh, didn’t he get that memo about the point of the show? DeAnna was totally heartbroken, but picked herself up and became “The Bachelorette.” Only she and her final choice—Jesse Csincsak—didn’t work out, either.

Now, DeAnna has found love for realz. And oddly enough, it happened because of “The Bachelor.” One of DeAnna’s good friends is Holly Durst, a contestant on “The Bachelor” who was let go by Matt Grant. (Bizarre side note: she also dated Jesse.) Holly later got together with Michael Stagliano, who tried to win over Jillian Harris on “The Bachelorette.” Holly and Michael decide to set up DeAnna with Michael’s twin, Stephen, and—shocker—it worked. DeAnna is currently home in Georgia, planning her wedding to Stephen, which will apparently be going down very soon. Before she left for the trip, Stephen tweeted, “The love of my life leaves me today to go home to Georgia : ( .” [Radar]

Frisky Rant: I’m On Team Vienna

Not that I was really on team anyone before, but I’ve watched the Jake and Vienna breakup special. Actually, I watched it twice, once alone and once with Aunt Mildred the body language expert, hoping to gain a new perspective. I always hated Vienna. When I watched her on “The Bachelor,” I thought she was a whiny, immature drama queen. That hasn’t changed. I still think she is. Maybe a little trashy. Maybe a little desperate for attention. Maybe just really young and naïve about the world. I thought I would still hate her on the breakup special. I wanted to. I thought I would side with Jake. Wrong. These two are no longer flying high on the wings of love. In fact, they are looking to make an emergency landing into the pages of Playboy and Playgirl, respectively. Jake And Vienna Film A “Bachelor” Breakup Special

“The Bachelor” franchise has shot two wedding episodes and a zillion “After the Final Rose” specials. But they’ve never done a special exclusively on a couple’s breakup. Until now. On Wednesday night, ABC let the cameras roll as they got together Jake Pavelka and Vienna Girardi for the first time since their breakup on Monday, for a special that will air on July 5th. As rumor has it, the situation on set was seriously tense. Radar reported that at one point during the filming, Jake pulled back his arm as if he were about to throw a punch. A few minutes later, he supposedly told Vienna to “shut up” on repeat. Keep reading »
