Get Ready For “The Real Housewives Of Miami”

Because there is apparently a never-ending supply of housewives and people who want to watch them battle it out, Bravo is taking it to Miami for the latest installment of “The Real Housewives.” In fact, “The Real Housewives of Miami” has already been shot and is ready to air, but was originally intended to be a different show, reportedly called “Miami Social Club” but unrelated to the failed show “Miami Social.” The series will begin sometime between November and January, but since it wasn’t intended to focus on housewife drama, it’s allegedly going to be a “tamer, sexier show,” which sounds lame. No one watches the housewives for their classiness; we watch them because they have no concept of reality and because, occasionally, someone goes nuts and does something awesomely destructive. And who goes to Miami to tone it down? Miami’s all about bedazzled, tan, and retired people in fanny packs! Hopefully, it will be like “The Golden Girls: The Early Years”! Keep reading »

Housewives Catfight At Jill Stuart Today!

OK, well not exactly. But a bevy of Housewives did show up to the Jill Stuart runway show today, along with Kim Kardashian, Kelly Rowland (who touched up Kim’s makeup), Rachel Bilson and “Top Chef” judge Gail Simmons. Sheree Whitfield sat directly across from Caroline and Dina Manzo, so it was a Jersey/Atlanta face-off in the front row. Keep reading »

This is the house Bunim/Murray Productions will turn into a swanky pad for the next crop of horny cast members on “The Real World: Washington D.C.” MTV will also air a D.C.-version of “The Hills” this summer. But MTV isn’t the only network moving into the capital. “The Real Housewives Of New Jersey”: Danielle Staub Is The Ultimate Villainess

I was kind of skeptical about whether the “Real Housewives of New Jersey” would be able to bring the drama. After watching last night’s episode, I have no more worries. Sure, Jacqueline Laurita needs to get a backbone, and Teresa Giudice doesn’t seem to do much more than spend money, but Bravo hit the mother lode with Danielle Straub. Compared with the other housewives, including the ones in Orange County, Atlanta, and New York City, she is the ultimate villainess. Don’t let the coy smile fool you. Danielle, as one of the most divisive characters, had it totally right when she said, “You either love me or you love to hate me, there is no in between.” At this point, I don’t love or hate Danielle as a person, but I do love the drama she brings. The Real Housewives Of New York City: The Trick Guy Theory

Bethenny Frankel isn’t married, so her appearances on “The Real Housewives of New York City” usually focus on her friendships or her dating life. Last night, Bethenny gave us one hell of dating gem. She introduced us to the “trick guy,” a not-so-good-looking man who’s insecure because he didn’t get laid in high school, and who, as a grown man, is still sorting out his insecurities. Now that he’s older and has more money, he feels he has to make up for lost time. He’ll cheat on his wife or girlfriend and go out to strip clubs. Basically, he plays head games with the women in his life. Conversely, the attractive guy had enough sex in high school or college to make him more grounded and able to connect to women as he gets older. Of course, Bethenny says this theory doesn’t hold true across the board Some gorgeous men remain d-bags throughout their lives. Do you think there’s any weight to the “trick guy” theory? Have you ever been tricked into liking a trick guy? Keep reading »
