—Julianna Margulies on the state of women in television. Such an interesting point she makes that I probably never would have noticed. Because I watch most of my TV on the internet, I’m not usually paying attention to network scheduling. But I can’t say I’m surprised by the practice. As far as women have come in all industries, I believe that there is still the pervasive, underlying belief (albeit unconscious) — both by men and women — that there can only be one or two women on top.
