Okay, so this might just be for me and Megan, but the entire cast of “Pretty Little Liars” was at the Teen Choice Awards on Sunday night and OMG you guys! THEY ARE ALL SO PRETTY I CAN’T STAND IT. And yes, I know I’m an adult and this show isn’t even meant for me. Of course, Ashley Benson, who is quickly proving herself to be the potential Lindsay Lohan of the group (hanging out at Chateau Marmont and everything) dyed her gorgeous blond hair light brown-ish, but otherwise they just look exactly like Hannah, Aria, Spencer and Emily (and oh yeah, evil Mona). From left to right, that’s Janel Parrish (Mona); Lucy Hale (Aria); Ashley Benson (Hannah); Shay Mitchell (Emily); and Troian Bellisario, who plays Spencer. Check out what they wore, and tell us whose outfit you like best (and which “PLL” you most identify with — hello, I’m such a Spencer) in the comments!
Take a good look. Does this young actress, spotted at the Teen Choice Awards Sunday night, look at all familiar? She should, because she’s …

Teens! They have choices! They even have awards about their choices! The 2013 Teen Choice Awards were held Sunday night, celebrating the aforementioned adolescent decisions. Miley Cyrus and her hair poof won big, Lea Michele came out and made a heartfelt speech about Cory Monteith, and there were so many teens! Because this show is essentially about children giving awards to other children, I went a little easier on their fashions. I don’t want to be accused of bullying teenagers, after all. Keep clicking for the good, the bad and the most boring fashions alive…
Well, this sure is a tearjerker. At last night’s Teen Choice Awards, Lea Michele — the girlfriend/costar of “Glee”‘s Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose last month — took to the stage to accept an award, her first public appearance since his death. On stage, surrounded by her “Glee” castmates, Michele (who was wearing a necklace that read “Cory”) tearfully thanked the fans for their love and support “these very difficult past few weeks.” She continued: Keep reading »
Julie teen covered all of the teen fashion from the Teen Choice Awards yesterday (my best-dressed pick? T. Swift), but when I took a look through the photos from the event, I saw one thing in common with almost every female attendee: black eyeliner, and lots of it. I think even Justin Bieber had some on. I instantly recalled my own formative teenage years, during which I managed to convince myself that I was unpresentable without lashings of the stuff (in pencil form, tip heated by a lighter, natch) in and around my already-small eyes. Why did I do this, and perhaps more importantly: why does every girl between the ages of thirteen and eighteen do this at some point? Tell me: is it just me — and all these teens — or were you, too, a teenage victim of this trend?
Guys, there are so many teens. So many teens that attended this year’s Teen Choice Awards. I’m not really sure what the point of the Teen Choice Awards is, other than to confer praise and accolades from the teen public onto teens they really like and admire. Either way, the teens in attendance at the Teen Choice Awards made a vast array of sartorial teen choices — some good, and some woefully bad. Let’s take a look at them after the jump, shall we?
We knew Miley Cyrus’ brief pole dance at the Teen Choice Awards was going to spark a debate and, lo and behold, it has. Parent advocacy groups are up in arms, and blogs are crowing: “Miley Cyrus Does Her Part For the Pornification Of America.” In Newsday, child psychologist Wendi Fischer opined, “She’s sending the message that this is ‘OK’ to do, and I don’t think it is OK to do.” [Newsday] Keep reading »
Ladies and gentlemen, we gather here today to remember our dear friend pole dancing.
Beloved by frat boys, horny old men, and starlets in desperate need of attention, pole dancing may have enjoyed decades more of life had not Miley Cyrus pole-danced at the Teen Choice Awards last night. Keep reading »
Sorry we ruined this tender moment between Ashley Tisdale and her music director bf Scott Speer with a fart joke —not! But they were pretty puke-tastic, er, cute at the Teen Choice Awards. From the looks of this photo, Ashley’s working on a cover of Debbie Gibson’s “Lost in Your Eyes.” [Hollywood, 8/9/09] Keep reading »
