Birthday celebrations sure have changed since I was a kid: a middle school teacher in Texas has been arrested for performing a lap dance for her 15-year-old student on his birthday.
Felicia Smith, 42, allegedly gave a four-minute, full-contact lap dance in February to the unnamed boy in front of other students in the classroom. The boy told police that he sat in a chair next to her desk while music played, she “moved back and forth on his crotch and then touched him all over his body” and he spanked her butt several times. She also reportedly sank down to her knees and put her head between his legs. At the end, Smith allegedly told the boy, “I love you, baby. Happy birthday.” First Coast News reports that video exists of the whole incident. Keep reading »

I’m dying to know whether it was a student or a parent who discovered Dallas high school Spanish teacher Cristy Nicole Deweese had also posed nude for Playboy and Playboy.com. Because reporting that to the authorities was probably an awkward conversation.
Deweese, 21, posed naked three years ago as a “Coed Of The Month” for Playboy as well as on Playboy.com as a cybergirl.” Today she teaches Spanish at Townview Magnet High School in Dallas, Texas.
I don’t think it should matter whether teachers have worked as strippers or escorts, posed topless or appeared in porn in the past. If my hypothetical kid’s teacher is a gifted and hard-working educator, that is what’s important to me. As long as teachers conduct themselves professionally and keep their past careers out of the classroom, it should be a nonissue. Keep reading »
Meet Dale Irby, a physical education teacher from Dallas, Texas, who wore the same polyester button-down and brown sweater vest for his yearbook photo for 40 years in a row. He first picked out the ensemble to look sharp for his 1973 photo. And then in 1974, he accidentally wore the same thing again.
“I was so embarrassed when I got the school pictures back that second year and realized I had worn the very same thing as the first year,” Irby told the Dallas Morning News.
That’s when his wife Cathy dared him to keep the tradition going for another five years. By the time the 1980s rolled around, Irby was so used to his polyesther/vest combo that he decided to keep on wearing it until he retired this past year.
With all the awful teachers you read about in the news, it’s nice to hear about one who’s done some fine work. Way to go, Mr. Irby, you really taught your students a lesson about perserverance. [News AU]
“Have you ever seen your teacher’s breasts before? Well, now you can see them.”
Such was the tag line for MySluttyTeacher.com, a porn site started by Heidi Kaeslin — oh dear — a special education teacher and girls’ soccer coach in Stockton, California. Houston teacher Esther Irene Stokes has been charged with molesting a first grade girl, but denies the charges claiming that she would never touch a black child.
“The victim said that she was in the classroom alone with the teacher and that the teacher touched her on the outside of her clothes, on what she called her ‘private part,’ her vaginal area,” reported police. Allegedly, the student asked Stokes to stop and the 61-year-old teacher banished the girl from her classroom, forcing her to stand outside in the hallway. According to reports, the girl was not allowed to eat lunch. The victim’s mother corroborated that her daughter didn’t eat lunch that day. Keep reading »
