We all love Taylor Swift, but man, girlfriend has been doing some batshit crazy things lately. All these boyfriends! And she falls in love in two seconds flat and then, because she’s mega rich, buys houses and stuff right next door to them. True story: I once accidentally saw Taylor Swift perform at an Apple store in, like, 2007. Nobody was there. I was trying to get my computer fixed, and she was just singing to three people. But anyway! Taylor is pretty, young, rich and famous. And as Ryan O’Connell writes on Thought Catalog:
Her career depends on her getting laid and having her heart broken. That’s what 99% of her songs are about. If we don’t know who she’s sleeping with, what else is there to really know about her? It’s practically her job to always be in love with someone.
And that could turn practically anyone batcrackers
So we’ve catalogued the year in crazy Taylor Swift girlfriend moves, for your pleasure.

Over the past few years, Taylor Swift has become the queen of love songs, writing lyrics about relationships that everyone seems to relate to — the good, the bad, and the teen angsty. To celebrate her 23rd birthday, we’ve chosen a Taylor Swift tune to suit every kind of relationship, pointing out why her lyrics may seem to hit so close to home. While some of her hits can get a little cheesy, we still love singing along when we’re into a new guy or just getting over someone. With songs that cover the initial butterflies, bitter breakups, sad endings, and forever devotion, here are 13 (of course) Taylor Swift songs for every relationship status. Read more…
Have you ever style-morphed with a friend? Like, you both start out with distinctly different fashion senses, but then you get inspired by the way your friend cuffs her jeans, and she simply must have that polka dot sweater you’re wearing, and suddenly you have to plan ahead in order to not show up wearing the exact same outfit everywhere you go? BFFs Emma Stone and Taylor Swift are totally style-morphing, as you can see from this side-by-side comparison of their recent outfits (in case you can’t tell, that’s Emma on the left and Taylor on the right). I’m pretty sure Emma was rocking the nerdy hipster look first, but Taylor has really made it her own lately, rocking skinny jeans, oxfords, and wayfarer sunglasses for appearances around the globe. The famous friends’ matching blonde hairstyles really take the “twinsies!” look to the next level. [Photos: Fame/Flynet]
In “Crazy Stupid Love” — that funny rom-com starring Ryan Gosling so you know I’ve seen in 20,000 times — Gosling’s character explains to Emma Stone that women want to sleep with him as soon as they find out that he can do the lift from “Dirty Dancing.” I have come to the conclusion that Taylor Swift has seen that film more than I have because A) it’s totally her kind of movie and I know this because I get Taylor Swift, B) she’s pals with Emma Stone, and C) she managed to convince new boyfriend Harry Styles (from One Direction) to do the lift with her at a club this week. In conclusion, while Taylor may be having the time of her life, no one should ever do this again. It’s officially jumped the shark. [MTV]
If Taylor Swift keeps going on the same track in the love department, she may want to consider naming her next album: “Maybe It’s Me.” Seriously, girlfriend is gorgeous, rich, talented, sweet, and yet she can’t–for the life of her—seem to hang onto a man for more than a few months.
I don’t know Taylor personally. I do know people who have met and interviewed her though and by all accounts, she’s an incredibly kind and genuine person, which is not something you find too often in Hollywood. The purpose of this article is not to bash her, but rather, to learn from her. I don’t really pay close attention to pop culture these days, but Taylor is one famous face who I can’t seem to escape, and who’s troubles in the love department have captured my attention (and sympathy!).
