I know it’s a question that has kept you up at night for months—whatever happened to Lady Gaga‘s meat dress? Apparently, it did not end up as maggot food. After Gaga wore the dress at the 2010 VMAs, her handlers stuck it in the freezer, though parts were already decomposing a tad. From there, the dress went to a California taxidermist by the name of Sergio Vigalato. It took him almost four months, but he was finally able to preserve the dress in a form that doesn’t need refrigeration. And the garment is now on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland. The moral of this story is: it’s better to eat your meat than wear it. And this is coming from a vegetarian.
