Over the past few years, some very unappealing men have managed to land their own reality TV dating shows. Let’s just say that I have never had any desire to date Flavor Flav. Nor could I ever stand Bret Michaels’ catch phrase “What’s a goin’ on?” in real life. Sure, I do think Ray J is hot, but anyone who has a sex tape is probably just not for me. But now we have truly reached the bottom of barrel. After Tareq Salahi‘s wife left him for Journey guitarist Neal Schon, he has figured out a way to make lemonade out of lemons. Sources close to the “Real Housewives of D.C.” alum say that Tareq is pitching a dating show called “Seducing Salahi,” where 14 women will compete for his affections.

Tareq Salahi Threatens Michaele With $3.3 Million Debt

Tareq Salahi is not the kind of person to let someone else get in the final word. Now that Michaele Salahi, his wife who recently left him, has started gabbing to the press about her new relationship with Journey guitarist Neal Schon, Tareq is ready for his last laugh. He promises The New York Daily News that Michaele is responsible our “half of all our debt … [Our divorce proceedings] will be a circus.” So how much do these two owe? Tareq estimates that their debt is somewhere in the ballpark of $3.3 million. Oh, and he also dropped another doozy. Michaele Salahi And Neal Schon Talk About Their “Fairy Tale” Romance

“It’s like a fairy tale. It is, it really is. I’m very happy, very happy after waiting for her for 15 years. Now I want to get beyond all this media hype that Tareq has put out there. It’s really quite embarrassing. … What happened was [backstage], she takes off her wedding ring, right in front of Tareq. And then she proceeds to come into my dressing room where I’m sitting down … And she looks down at me like she’s standing on stilts and says, ‘I love you. And that’s never gonna change.’ And when that happened I said, ‘Get over here! This has taken 15 years!’”

—Neal Schon, the guitarist for Journey who managed to pull Michaele Salahi away from party-crashing husband Tareq, tells the Daily Beast all about their courtship. Apparently, in the ’90s, Michaele was dating both Neal and Tareq but ultimately chose Tareq. Still, Neal and Michaele kept in touch and, over Labor Day weekend, he sent Michaele and Tareq VIP tickets and backstage passes to a Journey show. He says Michaele pledged her love for him then, even though it took another week before she officially left Tareq, boarded a plane, and joined Neal on tour. The two were photographed for the first time together yesterday and it appears that they can’t take their hands off each other.

Michaele Salahi Has Been Kidnapped?!

Kidnapping — or publicity stunt? Tareq Salahi of Bravo’s now-cancelled “The Real Housewives of D.C.” claims his wife Michaele Salahi, one-half of the White House party-crashing duo, has been abducted. TMZ reports that Michaele Salahi supposedly left for a hair appointment yesterday, but never made it there and never returned. He claims he got a phone call from his wife from an unfamiliar phone number late last night and she told him she was headed to her mother’s house; when Tareq called Michaele’s mother, she said they had not spoken. Now he is afraid Michaele Salahi has been kidnapped and contacted the police. Police reportedly told him that Michaele already contacted them and said she refuses to go home to Tareq because of “family problems.” Keep reading »

White House Party Crasher Michaele Salahi Confirmed For “Real Housewives of D.C.”

Just as we suspected! Bravo officially confirmed today that Michaele Salahi, one of the White House party crashers, will star on “The Real Housewives of D.C.,” debuting August 5. Michaele, a blond socialite straight out of Central Casting, and her husband, Tareq Salahi, grabbed headlines internationally when they breached security at President Obama‘s first official state dinner. It turns out Bravo cameras were following the couple that night for the “Real Housewives” TV show. (The Salahis insist they were invited to the event). It was an embarrassment for the White House and Obama’s Social Secretary Desiree Rogers later stepped down. But no matter! Crazy people make for entertaining TV and that’s what matters, right?
