It’s that time of year again! That is, time for the the human clothing hangers better known as models to strut down the catwalks of Lincoln Center in beautiful, expensive and sometimes absurd designer clothing, for the Fall 2014 runway shows. Each day, we’ll present to you a selection of noteworthy shows so that, even if you can’t ultimately afford what you see (uh, we can’t), you’ll be up to date on the coming trends. New York is currently dealing with an impending mega-blizzard storm. Sure that’s concerning to us regular New Yorkers, but more importantly, what’s this gonna mean for New York Fashion Week? Already, Marc Jacobs has cancelled his show Friday evening with many other designers sure to follow suit. Day 2 of New York Fashion Week rolls on. Today, there were new offerings from Thakoon, Richard Chai LOVE, Tadashi Shoji and tons of others. At Creatures of the Wind, the collection had a down home prairie vibe. While at Nicholas K, the clothes were reminiscent of a summer dessert storm. Are we sensing a theme here?
