Jamie Chung used to be on “The Real World: San Diego,” and now she’s a hot actress who has the style game of a French Vogue fashion editor, I swear. See, not every person who goes on an MTV reality show spends the rest of their life on a downward spiral towards drug addiction and endless failed attempts at winning not that much money on “The Challenge.” Get the look of a reality TV success story, after the jump! I’ll be honest, a leather midi skirt sounds like a recipe for butt sweat to me, but I’d be willing to deal (and perhaps prep my backside with some baby powder) for an outfit as frickin’ hot and chic as this ensemble Mandy Moore is wearing. Do you think Mandy Moore gets butt sweat? I bet not. Whatever. Get the look and the butt sweat for yourself with my recreation, details for which are after the jump! Keep reading »
I could easily write a 10,000 word analysis of the different signature styles of each of the Kardashian sisters (is that sad? That’s sad, huh?), but for now, let me just say that of the three older sisters, Kourtney Kardashian has the realest style. What do I mean by that? Well, compared to Kim’s super-high-fashion (and often labial) outfit choices and Khloe’s wild style, Kourtney’s casual looks are just more…normal. She obviously loves fashion and keeps up with the trends, but in a slightly more accessible way than her sisters. For example, this cute striped ensemble: chambray shirt, distressed jeans, trendy heels, classic bag. Can’t you see one of your friends showing up for brunch in this outfit? (As opposed to, say, one of these outfits?) Read on to find out how you can show up for brunch in this outfit, including Kourtney’s exact blouse (for about $100!). Keep reading »
Well isn’t this just the most perfect work-to-cocktails outfit I ever did see? For starters, if you don’t already have some sort of stretchy midi skirt in your closet, you need one — they’re comfy but look polished and can be dressed up or down. I love that Nikki Reed kept things unexpectedly by pairing her stripe skirt with a bright orange-y red sweater, gold-accented accessories, and slightly sexier versions of the standard black blazer and pumps. Flawless from head to toe! Get the look for yourself after the jump! Keep reading »
LOL, I must be a masochist because I decided I just had to do a Style Stealer on this super fashion-y outfit worn by teenager Elle Fanning. Because chartreuse coats, jeweled pumps and sheer-paneled blouses are just everywhere, you guys, so this should have been simple. Alas, as you can probably sense from my sarcasm, it was not simple in the slightest and I had to make some concessions when it came to accuracy. The coat is yellow, because the coat that would have been perfect — Topshop’s Boyfriend Coat in lime green — is sold out. And the jeweled pumps? Forget about it, I went with leopard-print because from far away they have the same effect. I mean, I think the outfit I came up with is almost as cute. In fact, it may be cuter if you’re one of the many people who would rather die than wear chartreuse. Anyway, details after the jump!

Margot Robbie, best known for playing Leonardo DiCaprio’s wife in “The Wolf of Wall Street,” is from Australia, but the outfit she was spotted wearing in Paris this week is as French as her first name. I mean, a striped shirt, classic trench, wide leg jeans, towering wedge boots and glamour girl shades are the very definition of “tres chic.” And because these pieces are all essentially basics, you might even be able to replicate it with items that are already in your closet. If not, we’ve found all the items for you! Get the details after the jump… Keep reading »
Do you guys have an item of clothing that you gave away years ago that haunts you to this day? Mine is a denim pencil skirt. I tossed it in a donation pile almost a decade ago and still think about it often, sighing dramatically with regret. It fit me perfectly, was surprisingly sexy, and super comfy. After seeing Ali Larter rocking this almost identical denim pencil skirt, I’m thinking mine was just slightly ahead of its time. Whyyy did I give it away?! Alas, fashion hindsight is always 20/20. All I can do now is attemp to recreate Ali’s outfit and mourn the loss of my skirt. Read on for all the shopping details! Keep reading »
White lace is a deceptive fabric. It kind of wants you to think it should only be worn during the warmer months, with sandals and bare legs and a tan. And it should be worn then, but you can totally also wear white lace in winter, with the addition of one very important piece — BLACK TIGHTS. Black tights help white lace come out of winter hibernation — just look at how chic Jessica Alba looks in this Victorian-inspired white lace swing dress, her vibe further winterized with a deep plum lip and long sleeves. Here’s how plus-size women can replicate her look… Keep reading »
Alessandra Ambrosio ensemble here is not just an outfit, it’s a lifestyle. I mean, look at her! She’s wearing white jeans while wandering around town with a perfectly coordinated white bicycle and summer-y espadrilles. I would really like to have the kind of life where I coordinate my charming transportation choices with my pants, and am also able to ride said transportation choice without getting mud splatters on my butt. Ideally, this post would be a Life Stealer, but I guess I can start by stealing her outfit, and hope the rest follows? If you’d like to join me in recreating this
lifestyle ensemble, get all the shopping details after the jump! (Bike not included.)

Were I to sit down and make a long list of dream life goals, there would likely be quite a few things on that list that I probably won’t get the opportunity to do. For example, “give an Oscar acceptance speech.” It’s not so much winning an Oscar as it is giving a thank you speech AT the Oscars that would be my goal. Still, shooting for the stars either way. Where am I going with this? Oh yeah. So another thing that is totally on my imaginary dream life goals list is “find an excuse to wear a sexy suit and rock the fuck out of it.” Not only is this an attainable goal, but Keri Russell is officially my muse. I still need to find an occasion to wear one — you know, besides on stage at the Oscars — but at least I know how I’d put it all together. I’m also totally obsessed with the way she has her hair just casually swooped over her shoulder. (Side note: what happened to her incredibly curly hair? Did she get that Brazilian straightening treatment? It’s very confusing and inquiring minds want to know.) Get the deets on this look, after the jump!
