One of my favorite fall looks is a breezy summer dress paired with black tights, as modeled here by the lovely Taylor Swift, whom I saw in concert a few weeks ago and was totally blown away by both her musical talent and the sheer perfection of her bangs. But anyway, I rounded up everything you’ll need to recreate Tay-Tay’s fabulous outfit — just add black tights (and a guitar case if you want to be really literal) and you’re good to go! Truthfully, I could do a Style Stealer on Jessica Alba every damn day, that’s how good her street style is (and how often she’s photographed by the paps), but I restrain myself. Today, I could not. I love how hot she makes a fully buttoned white blouse, skinny jeans, and an oversized blazer. The jacket may be roomy, but everything else is formfitting. Sexy doesn’t mean you have to show skin. This is how you do casual menswear, ladies.

Reader Maynard requested a Style Stealer for this fabulous and fairly demure (by Gwen Stefani standards) outfit after seeing it in a collection of some of Gwen’s best street styles earlier this week. Ask and you shall receive! Here’s everything you need to recreate this look for yourself with a non-rock star budget (all the pieces here are around $100 or less). Read on for shopping details! If you’re searching for some fashion inspiration for your next girls’ night out that is sure to get you noticed, look no further than this fierce ensemble Hayden Panettiere wore on a recent trip to NYC. By pairing red leather pants with a full-coverage t-shirt and a chic blazer, she created an outfit that’s totally fierce but not over the top. We found all the pieces you’ll need to recreate her look (including some red faux leather pants for $50 instead of, you know, $5,000). Get all the shopping details after the jump! Keep reading »
You guys. I have a very difficult confession to make. I’m feeling very “meh” about this season of “Nashville.” I know! I can barely even admit it to myself! I’m just having trouble getting excited about any of the current storylines, and so many of the characters I loved in season 1 are coming across as boring/annoying in season 2. Amelia thinks it’s because Rayna has been wearing her hair up too much, which is valid – not allowing Connie Britton’s hair to flow freely is a travesty. How are you guys liking this season? Do you share my ambivalence or are you super into it??
Even with my hesitations about the plot, this season’s fashion game has been on point. Frisky reader Sara requested a Style Stealer for the fabulous silk halter top Rayna wore to the Edgehill party in last week’s episode (paired with one of the aforementioned sacrilegious ponytails). Get the shopping details for her exact top, plus a more affordable option, after the jump! Keep reading »
Over the weekend, I saw this photo of Olivia Palermo, decked out in ripped jeans, a classic white blouse and red stilettos, pop up on my Pinterest dashboard, like, five times. It was clearly a sign from the Style Stealing Gods, instructing me to recreate her outfit. When the universe speaks, I listen! Especially when it involves tracking down sexy fuck me heels for less than $60. Details after the jump! Keep reading »
I didn’t even know I was looking for the ideal sexy-yet-comfortable fall outfit, but thanks to Jennifer Hudson, I just found it. Her body-con midi dress in a deep burgundy shade (I’m still boycotting the word “oxblood,” sorry) paired with coordinating lipstick and streamlined black accessories is perfection. Want to steal her style for yourself? (Don’t mind if I do!) Read on for all the shopping details… Keep reading »
Remember when Katie Holmes became Tom Cruise’s
beard girlfriend and then wife, and she suddenly got this super FASHION makeover? Well, I didn’t really love it. It always looked to me like Katie was being dressed by someone else, like a Scientology-approved stylist or Tom himself, and not on her own. Now that she’s free, I’ve been pleased to see Katie’s style evolve in a direction that looks more authentically her. Okay, and also I own the perfect pair of boots to wear when recreating this particular Katie Holmes outfit, so maybe I’m biased. Get all the deets for recreating this look — minus the hat — after the jump! Keep reading »
