Style Stealer: Emmy Rossum’s Matchy-Matchy Moment

Emmy Rossum Style Stealer

I’m normally very anti-matchy when it comes to fashion. I’ll take a clash over an exact color/print match any day. Even so, this Emmy Rossum ensemble, which is about as matchy-matchy as one can get, has totally stolen my heart. I love the girly accents (lace and ballet flats!) and all that mint green (or is it baby blue? or seafoam green? let’s go with minty baby seafoam blue) works so well with her heather grey skirt. Want to steal this look for yourself? Get all the matchy-matchy pieces after the jump! Keep reading »

Style Stealer: Taylor Swift Is All Prepped Out

Style Stealer: Taylor Swift Is All Prepped Out

Sometimes a haircut is just a haircut. But sometimes a haircut is the impetus for an entire style rejiggering of sorts, as the new ‘do becomes the centerpiece of a whole new look. I sort of think that’s what’s been happening to Taylor Swift’s fashion sense, ever since she chopped her long blonde locks into a chic bob. Taylor was always a bit of a girlie girl, but this cool crop has first brought her inner goth and now her inner prep school kid out to play. Her bright marigold shoulder bag and brownish jeans (I would call them “adobe-colored” but that seemed a little fashion-person pretentious after already using the word marigold) keep this bookish look from treading into blah territory. Also, is it just me or is Tay rocking a different part in her hair? Did she switch sides? Who does that?!  I haven’t switched my part in 15 years, seriously. SO BOLD! Applause, Taylor, applause. Anyway, get this almost-exact look for yourself with the items after the jump! Keep reading »

Taylor Swift has a lot of best friends — Selena Gomez! Emma Stone! Lily Aldridge! Karlie Kloss! — but her BFF du jour is New Zealand singer Lorde. I can’t help but wonder if TayTay raided Lorde’s closet with this latest all-black ensemble, which is decidedly more goth than we’ve ever seen the girlie girl. I’m totally feelin’ her black skater skirt, leather jacket and booties, especially with her newish modern bobbed haircut. Get the look for yourself, after the jump… Keep reading »

Style Stealer: Candace Cameron’s Tailored Blue Romper

Style Stealer: Candace Cameron’s Tailored Blue Romper

Talk about a blast from the past, both DJ Tanner and Winnie Cooper are on “Dancing With The Stars” this season! Speaking of the former, check out the tailored romper Candace Cameron wore to rehearsal the other day. As a Christian woman, Cameron has been determined to be sexual while saving the best for her husband. She has worn many of the more conservative costumes this season, yet has no problem showing off a lot of leg! I actually love this romper. It is sexy and sophisticated and can be worn with heels or flats. Here’s how to steal Candace’s style… Keep reading »
