Style Stealer: Kate Middleton Does The Nautical Trend Justice

Style Stealer: Kate Middleton Does The Nautical Trend Justice

Kate Middleton wouldn’t go sailing in just any old thing. Nope, the future Queen of England (well, probably anyway) sails the high seas in only the best nautical wear money can buy — Balmain. Us commoners will have to settle for stealing her look at a pittance. Get the details after the jump! Keep reading »

Style Stealer: Emma Stone’s Stylish Stripes & Cropped Tuxedo Jacket

I’m suddenly majorly regretting our family’s decision to get rid of my grandma’s retro-riffic wardrobe after her passing because I just know it was full of dramatic tie-neck blouses in crazy prints and stripes. Then I really could have emulated Emma Stone’s look above, since blouses like hers are kind of hard to come by. Instead I settled on a button-up with similar vertical stripes and picked out a pair of black pumps with some special details around the toe and ankle. Topping everything off with a cropped tuxedo jacket and skinny jeans makes this graphic look even more modern. Get the look after the jump! Keep reading »

Style Stealer: Keri Russell

Tis the season to stare at your closet for what seems like eons in the morning because the weather is confusing as hell and you have no idea what to wear. What will take you from frigid drizzle in the morning to balmy and breezy in the late afternoon? The transition between winter and spring can be a real bitch to navigate fashion-wise, but Keri Russell seems to have it figured out with this outfit. Now you can copycat her the next time the forecast has you saying, “Da fuck?” Details on emulating her look at after the jump! Keep reading »

Style Stealer: Jamie Chung’s Daring Denim Jumpsuit

Style Stealer: Jamie Chung's Daring Denim Jumpsuit

There are probably, oh, 20 days out of the year where I’d wake up and think to myself, Amelia, I think you could pull of the denim jumpsuit today. In fact, I think you should pair it with kinda crazy heels and a striped cardigan and you will look FLY. (I speak to myself in the third person on those days as well.) I imagine that Jamie Chung wakes up and has the confidence to pull off this look on more days than that. But regardless of how often the urge to wear a denim jumpsuit with a grandpa cardigan and greyish pointy toed booties/pumps hits you, you need to be prepared. Get the look after the jump! Style Stealer: Jenna Dewan-Tatum’s Stripes & Skinnies

Style Stealer: Jenna Dewan-Tatum's Stripes & Skinnies

As I have mentioned a million times lately, I reallllllly miss California and am contemplating a move to Los Angeles. (Don’t worry, I’m not bailing on The Frisky — I could do my job from a yurt in the jungle, so long as there’s wifi.) Mostly I’d be going for the sunshine, the more affordable rent, the medical marijuana, the beaches and the tacos, but I also have a deep desire to dress exactly like Jenna Dewan-Tatum, above, at least 300 days out of the year. Stripes, army green skinny cargos, cool shades and flat sandals are my JAM. Get the look yourself (though, depending on where you live, you probably can’t wear this outfit every day) with the pieces listed after the jump!

Style Stealer: Emmy Rossum’s Matchy-Matchy Moment

Emmy Rossum Style Stealer

I’m normally very anti-matchy when it comes to fashion. I’ll take a clash over an exact color/print match any day. Even so, this Emmy Rossum ensemble, which is about as matchy-matchy as one can get, has totally stolen my heart. I love the girly accents (lace and ballet flats!) and all that mint green (or is it baby blue? or seafoam green? let’s go with minty baby seafoam blue) works so well with her heather grey skirt. Want to steal this look for yourself? Get all the matchy-matchy pieces after the jump! Keep reading »
