There was once a time, when I was young and naive and acne-ridden, when I didn’t moisturize. I mistakenly thought that because I had been cursed with oily and pimpled skin that there wasn’t a need for any additional moisture. I was wrong. Nowadays my skin is much clearer, though I still get the occasional breakout, but I’m a complete moisturizing freak. Luckily, our style department (formerly headed up by my dear Erin, featured in the video above — she’s now working for MarieClaire.com) get loads of free products in the mail — and opening them is half the fun. The Frisky’s Style Unboxed: Talika’s “Beauty Of Your Eyes” Kit

Erin, The Frisky’s style editor, gets sent a lot of new beauty products in the mail to test and review, but sometimes the most exciting part is opening the goods and finding out what’s inside. When we found out that there’s a whole genre of internet videos in which tech geeks film themselves unboxing the latest gadgets (check out how it’s done at Engadget and Gizmodo), we realized women might be psyched about seeing us unbox the products we get sent in the mail.
