Chic On The Street: Pulled-Together Punk

We peeped Paige Cano, 19, on Venice Beach and loved the combo of don’t-give-a-damn grunge paired with pretty hair. Paige is rocking a T-shirt from a Dystopia show with thrift store jeans and pumps “borrowed from a friend.” Keep reading »

Chic On The Street: Thrifty Lady

We find Angelica Martinez perfect for this Venice Beach setting—a tough chick with a happy flair for color. And she got everything from “either the thrift store or the 99-cent store.” She also laughed and added that the shades were found in a bar. Finders, keepers! Keep reading »

Chic On The Street: Lovely Layers

We couldn’t help but notice sleek yet punchy Akiko Kishimoto, 29, behind the counter at an authentically Japanese restaurant in Cusco, Peru. Love that layering, and that punchy tartan pattern on her tights. This Tokyo transplant says the entire ensemble is from vintage stores, bought in Tokyo two years ago. Keep reading »

Chic On The Street: “Gossip Girl” Gone Nice

We think we’ve found the kinder, gentler Jenny Humphrey in Singapore. And just to clarify—we approve. Samantha See (no relation), 21, was spotted on Orchard Road in Singapore in a military-inspired shirt dress from Kuala Lumpur, accidentally yet symmetrically ripped black tights and the coolest rain sandals ever. xoxo, The Frisky Keep reading »

Chic On The Street: Sailor Stripes

Since we kinda want to copy her stripey and effortlessly chic thing, we had to ask this fashion designer where she got her outfit. Maria, 22, got her top at Urban Outfitters, sandals from Marc Jacobs, shades from H&M, and the skirt is from a vintage boutique on Sunset Boulevard in Silver Lake. Good news for those of us who want to “borrow” her style—Maria just quit her job to start her own line. Keep reading »

This Is What An Off-Duty Flight Attendant Looks Like (Cute!)

Think “flight attendant” and images of nude stockings, nylon blazers, and straight skirts that border on matronly probably come to mind. We’re obsessed, however, with Asako Itono, a flight attendant for Emirates Airlines, who was caught in her off-duty uniform on the streets of NYC. Girl has got some awesome indie style, mixing rare pieces from Japan with classic brands like Burberry. Something to consider … being a flight attendant could also mean having a rad international wardrobe. [The Cut] Keep reading »
