So, turns out adults have been chasing after Stella McCartney‘s new Gap Kids collection. Maybe it was Grazia magazine who put the idea into people’s heads that they could wear the line after its staffers put a video online of them trying on looks from the collection (and yes, the skinny ladies did fit into some of the styles that weren’t even the largest ones). In any case, it would seem that the most popular item in the range—a Michael Jackson/military-inspired coat—has definitely been finding its way into the closets of grown-ups. Racked reports that in New York City, only one large size remains (although it’s surely gone by now). Is shopping the kids’ section: A) A clever and cheaper way to find some fun pieces, B) Upsetting because the only people who can wear it have to be super petite, or C) Sad because apparently the only really awesome designer collaborations out there are for the prepubescent set? When it comes to Stella McCartney, our personal philosophy is she can do no wrong, besides lower her prices a ton. First there was all that athletic wear, then fragrance, and now, Sir Paul McCartney’s daughter is expanding her collection to include sunglasses. The shades starts at $180 and go up to $250—look for them to drop at Stella McCartney stores worldwide and online later on this year. Apparently, Bono‘s wife, Ali Hewson, isn’t as charitable a soul as her husband. The UK’s Daily Mail is reporting that the claws have come out—and Stella McCartney is the target! Ali and her business partner, Bryan Meehan, have a company called Nude Skincare and are feeling cranky about the name of Stella’s new fragrance, “Stella Nude,” an eau de toilette version of her Stella perfume. To court they go, over a single word, and in the process, will spend boatloads because their skincare line may be confused with the fashion designer’s perfume. Bono: Talk some sense into wifey! Most of the time, I love being an adult. I can decide when to go to bed (or not),  eat an entire package of Sour Patch Kids at the movie theater before dinner, and wear skirts of questionable length. But, every now and then, I wish I were a kid again. Not for the lack of responsibilities or months-long summer vacations, but for the clothes. Today, Stella McCartney announced she’s launching a collection for GapKids and babyGap later this year. PETA announced today the winners of their annual sexiest vegetarian celebrities online vote, and singer Leona Lewis and the Red Hot Chili Pepper’s Anthony Kiedis were the winners. Now, I’m a vegetarian and find myself very annoying. I worry about my friends always have to think, “Is there anything for Catherine to eat here?” when deciding on a place for dinner, and that makes me feel bad. If I were a celebrity, though, all of my friends would be vegetarians. Seriously. The list of female actresses in the running for the sexiest vegetarian award included 90 names.
