Now that Disney has purchased LucasFilm, Princess Leia has got to get with the program on that whole Disney princess thing. Lucky for Leia, the other Disney princesses are all happy to teach her how to be a pretty, pretty princess and wait quietly by until her prince comes to save her. In song, of course.
High fashion often meets unrelated subjects — cats, for instance — so it technically shouldn’t come as a surprise that designer and illustrator John Woo has created a series of drawings that merges, of all things, characters from Star Wars with some of fashion’s finest. I’m not what you would call a fan of the saga, so I may not be able to fully appreciate the nuances of the series, but I’m still pretty damn entertained (not to mention impressed) by the artist’s depictions. The shirt’s only available at BAPE’s Harajuku store, starting September 17. [Definitive Touch] Keep reading »
